Chapter 39 - Nocturnal Echo Mother

Logging back in to two beautiful girls clinging to him had a certain charm to it. Rianna was laying with her head on his right shoulder clinging tightly to him. Her leg was coild around his and her arm was on his chest like she always does. Rachel was doing the same but only with his left side.

The only difference from how he and Rianna would normaly sleep was that they were all naked because nobody cared to put on their clothes after takeing a bath since they were all so tired.

Thinking for a second he realized they should of woken up since then. For them it's almost been a day and a half. Dose that mean they didnt cair to put back on thier clothes and stayed in the room or did they take off their clothes again to lay with him after whatever they did for the day.

After laying there thinking he actually didn't cair to much because the feeling of their skin on his was new and made him feel closer to them.

Takeing both his arms and letting his hands glide over their sides he finally reached their bottoms and squeezed gently.

The feeling was amazing, Riannas bottom was squishy and had plenty of give to it while Rachel's was more firm yet was still easy to squeeze. Rachel was the first to stir as her topaz eyes opened and looked at him.

"Good morning." A smile could be seen on her face as she spoke.

"Good morning." He said back while giveing her bottom a gentle squeeze.

Rachel's smile disappeared for a moment and then she leaned up and kissed him. It was a short kiss and only lasted a few seconds before she pulled away with a smile on her face again. Getting up Rachel went to the bathroom to wash off.

As he turned his head he could see that Rianna was watching. As their eyes met Rianna leaned up and also kissed him before getting up and heading to the bathroom herself.

As he laid there just looking at the ceiling for who knows how long, the girls returned all clothed and ready for the day.

Looking at him they thought of striping and joining him again but he got up moment's later and went into ths bathroom to also get ready for the day.

Walking back out of the bathroom he was now fully dressed and had his cloak in his hands.

"So what do we do about this?" He asked while pointing to the dryed blood that was covering his cloak.

"You could always wash it but there isnt a guarantee the blood with come out. The other option is to make a new one." Rachel said as she doned a cloak with no blood on it.

"We will probably kill more so I'll do my best to wash it." He said turning around and going back into the bathroom.

Spending 10 minutes trying to get some of the blood out he noticed that it was stained on and wouldnt come out. Sighing, he did his best to wash the cloak before drying it with a light green crystal that produced wind when supplied with mana.

Walking back out of the bathroom he doned the cloak and put the fluffy earmuffs around his neck. They wernt useful unless the enemy made a lot of annoying noise but they didnt look bad and turned out to be very comfortable, so wearing them wasnt a issue.

Rianna and Rachel must of had the same thoughts because they were also wearing their earmuffs around their necks.

Walking over Rachel handed him the sachel bag she made.

"The Echo Bat fangs can sell for alot in the capital thanks to how hard they are. They also make great material in crafting. I was going to keep some but considering how I'll be by your side from now on, I'll let you keep them and decide what to do with them." Rachel said with rosy cheeks. Looking at her he nodded.

"Then we will try to make some gear with them for all of us when we hit the capital." He said.

Grabbing his own sachel bag before walking out of their room with the two right behind him, he could imidiatly hear people chatting. As they walked down to the main floor of the inn they could see it was packed with people.

"What is going on? Does this town have a festival this time of year or something?" Rachel and Rianna were looking at the scene as he asked.

"Im not sure but we should leave for the capital as soon as possible. If people are gathering in this city then other members of the Brotherhood are sure to head here as well." Rachel said.

"Well let's get something to eat and then we will leave." He said as the two next to him must be hungry.

Walking over and sitting down they order their meals. Thankfully their meals are included in their stay at this inn or they would have to borrow some more money from the rich people in this town.

As they were waiting for their food they could over hear the conversations others were haveing and got a pretty good idea about why so many people were congregating to Relenora.

The quest the Duke sent out is rewarding 10 gold to the ones that bring the most Echo Bat teeth to him. Hearing this Rachel was a little disgusted at the audacity of the Duke.

"Echo Bat teeth could sell for way more than what is offered, they are worth at least 1 gold each." Rachel said in a bitter voice.

"I dont think there here for the reward. I think they are here to try and level." He said thinking that most of the people gathered here must be players.

"The reward is probably only a bonus to them." He continued.

"Why would that be?" Rianna asked.

"Rachel said there was a huge influx of adventures this year. How many of them are above level 1 do you think." Hearing him they could understand his thinking.

"Right! Almost all the new recruits were level 1. So they must be here to level up." Rachel agreed with him.

"Should we stick around to see if we can get to level 5?" Rianna asked in a low tone.

"Well thanks to yesterday I'm already level 5. However unless that nest has a Nocturnal Echo Mother, we probably wont get either of you to level 5 with what remains of the Echo Bats." Rachel whispered while leaning in.

"Although, if there was one i would love to try my hand at killing it." Rachel continued as she sat back in her chair.

"How dangerous is a Nocturnal Echo Mother?" Rianna asked.

"Well they arnt all to dangerous in open areas because just like the Echo bats they cant see without echolocation but if you find them in their home turf, they are extremely dangerous. They are at least 3 meters tall and there wing span is almost triple that. other than that there just a bigger Echo Bat." She finished as there food arived.

"I didnt even entertain the idea earlier because the Echo Cave we found was too small and there was no larg spaces inside to even house the creature." Rachel continued as she prepared to eat.

"I think we should head straight to the capital right after we eat then." He said.

Hearing him Rachel and Rianna looked at each other before looking at him.

"Dont you want to take the long route and gather more supply's?" Rianna asked.

"It would be nice but we should do that after I get my contract with Fraya." He said to them.

"Rachel, what do you think?" Rianna asked since she didnt want to put Silver in danger.

"If thats what he wants then I guess we will follow. It is what we signed up for Rianna." Rachel replyed.

"What do you mean by that?" He asked.

"We both agreed to become yours remember." Rachel stood up and walked over to him.

"Body." Rachel sat on his lap and moved his hand to her bottom with her left hand.

"Heart." Putting her right hand on his chest before continuing.

"And soul." She leaned in and kissed him on the lips.

Not letting his lips go till she was satisfied Rachel proceeded to stay sitting on his lap as she looked at Rianna.

"Wouldnt you agree?" Rachel asked Rianna.

Seeing her nod Rachel was about to get up when she felt him squeezing he bottom. Looking him in the eyes she proceeded to lean near his ear.

"Just so you know. When you do that, it drives me crazy." Rachel whispered into his ear before standing up and walking back to her seat to finish eating.

Looking at the two for a second before continuing to eat he considered takeing the long rout after all but he also wanted to get this contract out of the way so they could enjoy adventuring.

Thinking on this he still decided to take the shorter route as the longer they took the longer the people chaseing them had to catch up.
