Chapter 9 - Vision

That day...I met someone...someone who would change the way I treated this place since I reincarnated as an undertaker in another world.

Sakegi was sitting at the table in the morning, it had been 7 days since they returned from the trip, but he didn't look very well, he had tired and sunken eyes, pale skin and stooped posture.

Sandy: -Ouch... what's wrong with you? – putting hard-boiled eggs on Sakegi's plate. -It even looks like these corpses that arrive here.

Sakegi: -Don't compare me to the dead! – picking up a fork from the table.

On a table in the funeral home's kitchen, there were three plates, one with little rats and the other two with scrambled eggs, 3 cups of tea on saucers, a tablecloth decorated with spiritual writings.

Sakegi: -It's that dream again... - without the strength to even speak. –seven days I dream with the same voice asking for help and the only thing I see are cat eyes. - yawning. -Must be a pest of that miserable succubus.

Sandy: -This is all the fault of your perversion... - narrowing her eyes at him.

Sakegi: -Lucky for you I'm so sleepy...if you didn't hit him in the middle of his brat's head. – trying to put a fork with pieces of egg in his mouth.

Sandy: -I'm glad to hear that... - Smiling. -I can do what I want. -pointing a hand to his face.

Howl: -Stop it. – finished cornering your breakfast plate. -that woman has a dark power, but it's not that type. - drinking tea.

Sakegi: -So tell me what's happening to me? – in a cold sweat after eating the eggs.

Howl: -I don't know...but we have to restart our training, your new ability to use your own bones seems to be promising but it affects your body in a very gross way. – putting more tea.

Sakegi: -Don't tell me... - looking at the arm with the huge scar made by the bone fin. -Is that what made me look like this? – wondering if that new skill could have affected his sleep.

Madame: -Hardly... - entering the place where they were eating breakfast.

Sakegi: -That's all I needed...you early in the morning here. – too weak to try to get out of the Tulip's clutches, who stood behind him to caress his neck in order to excite him.

Sandy: -Hi madam mystery! – smiling at the woman. -Good Morning!

Madame: -Hello my little butterfly, how are you? – smiled back at the girl.

Sandy: -I'm fine, look! – showing the marks on the arms. -They are already disappearing!

Tulipa gave Alessandy a portion that would lessen the scars on her arms.

Madame: -very good, keep taking it regularly. – smiling as he stops caressing Sakegi, who turns away from her.

Sandy: -Yes! Thank you very much! – hugging the witch who for a moment forgets Sakegi and hugs him back.

Howl: -What do the good winds bring you here so early, ma'am? – finished the tea for the second time.

Tulip: -I got what you asked for, Howl. – looking at the owl.

Howl: -More now...wow, that's fast. – putting more tea.

Tulip: -Don't underestimate me, you dumb owl. – with a look of fury at him.

Howl: -but I was praising you... - uncomfortable with the insult.

Madame: -Very well...Stephanie bring the crystal ball. – speaks loudly towards the entrance.

Stephanie: -I'm going mommy! – entering the room with something wrapped.

Sakegi: -Mommy? – speaks loudly.

Stephanie: -You must be the Sakegi guy...that my mother talks about so much! - looking at him as if eating him with his eyes. -You are really beautiful, fragrant and very appetizing. - drooling in his face.

Stephanie is a 19 year old girl but with a child mind, she wore a dark green dress in the same base as Tulipa, carried a small umbrella and a disturbing smile in addition to a penetrating gaze, blue eyes and a pink skin.

Tulipa: -My daughter doesn't drool on men, I've already told you that this drives them away. – taking her off Sakegi.

Sakegi: -It could only be your daughter... - Wiping her face. -Come here if she is your daughter who is the father? – looking at Madame.

Madame: -you got it wrong, witches like me cannot have children, she is my daughter, but not by blood...unfortunately, I can only adopt those who, like me, were born witches. -Stroking your daughter's head.

Sakegi: -ah...okay... - realizing he said something that upset her. -so all the girls in your pension are...

Madame: -Yes...they are aspiring witches, but not all of them are my daughters...Stephanie is the youngest of 3. - sighing deeply.

Sakegi: -Got it... - seeing it was better not to ask anything about the other two.

Howl: -Well before we start...I have to go to the bathroom. -After drinking another cup of tea.

Sakegi: -but also, drank three cups of tea. – getting up.

Howl: -they're going soon... -flying to the second floor.

After clearing the breakfast table, everyone heads to the living room where they place the crystal ball on a small coffee table.

Madam: -Very well, Sandy put your hands on the ball please. – taking off the gloves.

Sandy: -Okay. – getting down on his knees and placing his hands on the translucent ball that starts to become opaque.

Sakegi: -come here explain to me again how it works. – better after taking a shower where Tulipa washed her back taking advantage of Howl was peeing.

Tulip: -Crystal ball is an ancient spiritual artifact that can identical to witches, if the glow inside her is purple, Sandy is a witch, if she is white she is just a simple human but if she turns blue she is... - Seeing that the ball has a very strong blue tone. –a sensitive. -admired.

Howl: -Sandy is sensitive... - Just like the madam, he is amazed.

Sandy: -sensitive? What does that mean? – looking at them.

Sakegi: -I was going to ask the same thing. – pushing Stephanie who tries to sit on his lap.

Madame: - for a long time the term 'sensitive' didn't exist, they were called witches just like us but sensitives can't use witchcraft like common witches, they are born with a unique power that can come to be strong or weak doing with which they are not even different from humans, but at the time of the inquisition many of them were killed, making them almost extinct in the spirit world and extinct in the human world, but apparently we have a second daughter of humans to become sensitive in this century.

Sandy: -Monday? – looking at Tulip.

Madame: -the same woman who, when she rose to the highest rank in the UK, differentiated witches from sensitives, the most powerful woman I have ever known, Queen Victoria. – looking at the royal coat of arms on the Ector painting on the wall.

Sakegi: -Wait a minute...is the queen a sensitive? – suppressed with that situation.

Howl: -and one of the most powerful ever cataloged by order. – flying to him.

Sandy: -So I'm like the queen? – looking at the witch.

Tulipa: -Yes, which is a pity...I would love to have you as my daughter. – clearly disappointed. –but you are one of the most powerful, your glow was intense and from what Howl told me your spiritual ability is quite broad for a sensitive. - smiling.

Sandy: -Thank you! – smiling as a tear ran down her face, it was the first time she felt important because of those powers. –hearing that is so good. -wiping the tears.

Madame: -Stephanie why don't you go play with Sandy in the back, show her your powers, she'll like it. – looking at the girl who was clinging to Sakegi while Howl tries to release her.

Stephanie: -Yes Mommy! – going to Sandy. -Let's play outside.

Sandy: -Alright! – taking the girl out.

Sakegi: -What happens to this girl? – looking at Madame.

Tulipa: -she ended up victim of an unrequited love that made her mentally regress her age...but she is a very skilled witch, I hope one day she will fully recover from this trauma. – sighing.

Howl: -Simons... - thinking aloud.

Madam: -Well, Howl told me that he is having a problem with insomnia that is not my cause, unfortunately. – placing his hand on his belly.

Sakegi: -...you've been having a lot of time to talk in... - afraid of that way of expressing herself.

Howl: -Madame was one of the best friends of the doctor... - smiling as she remembered the time.

Madame: -good times that don't come back anymore... - looking at the painting again.

Sakegi: -Sorry to disturb your nostalgia, but is there any portion that makes me sleep? – with red eyes.

Madame: -It seems that your lack of sleep is for something deeper, I don't think it's something as human as bad food or lack of carnal acts.

Sakegi :-...

Madame: -I need to get into your mind and find out. – coming close to him. -Put your head on my breasts. – pointing to her breasts facts.

Sakegi: -What? - looking at her straightening her cleavage.

Madame: -it's the only way to manipulate my witchcraft with maximum power. – smiling suspiciously.

Sakegi: -look what you're going to move there...I don't want to be like the crazy girl over there. – placing his head between her breasts. -Do I have to do this? – feeling a sweet aroma rise.

Madame: -this is the best way... - feeling his warm body against hers while concentrating.

Sakegi: -ok...I hope. - feeling his head heavy and then go out. -Hey...

Inside Sakegi's mind, a vast darkness gives way to a dense, damp forest, with a cave in the center and various vegetables and small animals fleeing from something that came like a strong wave of smoke.

Sakegi: -What is this place? – looking around and can only see smoke. –where does this smoke come from…I don't see fire… – looking up. -Not even the light of the flames... how strange I feel as if I've been here before.

The agent starts to wander through the forest that was humid, as if it was raining, there was no mud or raindrops, it just felt wet.

Sakegi: -It's so cold... and there's still all this moisture in the air and in the leaves... - noticing that the air coming out of her mouth was appearing in the air. –this is not normal… – he leans on a tree.

After stopping for a moment he begins to hear sounds of someone running in the middle of that smoke.

Sakegi: -Is anyone here? – looking in the direction of the sound. – noticing two points of light approaching by the smoke that constantly changed direction even without wind. -Is there more coming? – seeing that two yellow points of light were right behind the first one.

-help! – Someone with cat eyes glowing in the dark bumps into Sakegi.

Sakegi: -It's you... from the dream... - looking at that face that was covered by smoke in front of him.

"You cannot hide forever, then your soul will belong to the lord." – laughs amid steady steps.

Sakegi: -Is anyone coming here? I can't see it, but your spiritual presence is frightening. - watching the person grab him after hearing that voice. –hey wait!

-help me please! – taking Sakegi's hand. -need you! – with a crying voice.

- You will not be able to escape the demon lord. – a wave of smoke goes towards them after finding them.

Sakegi: -I feel something pulling me...not now. – having its shape undone.

-come soon! – Running in the opposite direction of the smoke.

Sakegi: -Wait! - Trying to go after him, but the smoke reaches him before and he finds himself in the middle of it without being able to breathe.

-come! – the face of a girl with cat eyes can be seen disappearing in the middle of the forest.

Sakegi: -Who are you? – feeling a pang in my heart.

-Go away! – big yellow eyes look at him from inside the smoke.

Sakegi: -aaaaaaa! – feeling a great pain in the chest region.

Tulip: -aaaaaa! – feeling the same pain outside.

Howl: -madame?! – trying to wake her up after Tulipa passed out. -Not that one, Sakegi. - looking at the young man lying on the floor turning purple.

Sakegi: -I escaped? – seeing that it was elsewhere. -What is this...I'm seeing Tulip's memories? – unable to interact with the environment where he was, he could only observe.

Young Tulip: -I can't be stuck here forever! – running in the opposite direction of a woman who was sick in bed.

-my daughter! - trying to reach the girl but his arm collapses with her.

Sakegi: -Why am I seeing this? – almost colorless in that place.

The vision changes scenery.

Adult Tulip: -You don't understand, Eitor...it's the only way! – crying when talking.

Eitor: -no... - turning his back on her. -I can not do this. - holding Howl still small.

Sakegi: -Doctor? – walking away from the scene. -Howl?

Sakegi felt like he was kicked out of Tulipa's mind and woke up on Sandy's lap after passing out on the floor.

Sandy: -Sakegi! – with relief features.

Sakegi: -Sandy? Where is... - Looking away. -mystery madam? – not understanding what happened.

Howl: -Tulip! – trying to wake her up.

Stephanie: -Mommy! – holding her head so as not to touch the ground.

Sakegi: -Tulip! – going to her.

Tulip: -...Ector? – looking at Sakegi and seeing Eitor's face –S-Sakegi… – waking up disoriented with her hand on her head.

Howl: -what happened? – scaring her to have confused Sakegi with the doctor after that moment of contact between them.

Tulip: -I'm not sure. -standing up a little dizzy.

Stephanie: -Easy... - putting her in an armchair.

Sakegi: -Sandy, get some water from the kitchen. - looking at the girl who was scared.

Sandy: -Right! – going to the kitchen.

Stephanie: -Mommy, your face... - Watching her wrinkle her face.

Tulip: -Take my umbrella... - Still feeling pain.

Stephanie: -Yes! – going to the entrance.

Howl: -Tulip? What you saw? – realizing that she had lost sense of something that made her feel the factors of time.

Tulip: -that damn demon...has come back... - looking at them, panting.

Howl: -That's not... - looking at a painting of Eitor on the wall. -Not again.- It only took those words for Howl to know who she was talking about. -teacher.

On a mountain to the south of there, Bartô and Howg were looking at something that catches their attention in the middle of a very extensive forest.

Bartô: -I finally found you, damn demon. – on top of the horse, looking at a dense smoke that was forming in a rainy forest.
