"Alexander, I know what he did was wrong, but you shouldn't have chopped off his fingers", Mr Harper said as he gazed at the pure blooded vampire in front of him, he appeared tired but still looked extremely stunning.
"You know Mr Harper...", he opened his charming red eyes and looked at the man,
"...some people should be taught their place, he was lucky I didn't get him sucked dry and thrown into the lake of bones, I only chopped his fingers off, I was being too lenient", the middle aged man swallowed and looked away from the already scary man. He cleared his throat,
"Humm... Alexander...",
"Hm?",
"You look tired, what's wrong, you look paler than normal", he sounded worried, Alexander raised an eyebrow,
"You're worried about me?, I'm sorry but keep your worrying, I just had a lot of activities last night, nothing's wrong", he smiled as he crossed his elegant long legs and Mr Harper's face turned red understanding what he said.
Alexander didn't feel good at all, he went back to the forest that night and searched for the girl, he looked around and when he exhausted his cigarettes that's when he went back home, worried for the first time in his life. He sent for another maid when he couldn't sleep. He couldn't believe that he, Alexander Quinne couldn't sleep because of a human girl, outrageously impossible.
"Sirs, we've arrived at the slave establishment", said the coachman.
Alexander and Mr Harper got down from the carriage and he was already bored at the environment, he then held an indifferent expression.
They both headed to the auction center and sat down, Alexander folded his arms and wasn't listening to Mr Harper blabber, he sighed as he heard ladies giggling at him, he smiled.
Artemis feet was hurting from standing too long, her blue eyes scanned the crowd and her heart slipped down to her stomach and then her eyes landed on an extremely handsome man with in indifferent countenance, she was stunned at the height of the man's handsomeness, his god like charming face and cold aura, down to his well defined chest that was peeking out of black shirt, looking at his well defined and sculptured chest and face, her face turned red and her ocean blue eyes brightened 'What a guy!', she thought and then as if on cue, he opened his eyes and stared straight at her, Artemis was startled by his blood red colored eyes, and then he smiled, Artemis' heart skipped a series of beats and she hid behind the other lady.
Alexander was so bored that he closed his eyes, if not because of council duties he won't be here and also he was on a break after the black witches issue and then he felt someone staring at him, the feeling felt strange because his heart accelerated as well all of a sudden, he then opened his eyes and saw a set of beautiful ocean blue eyes staring and accessing him. He then remembered the girl of that night, her raven black silky long hair, her delicate body, from the full peaks on her chest to her svelte waist, her beautiful simple little face and then his eyes settled on a luscious pinkish lips, he then broke into a charming smile and he saw her hide behind a lady beside her. He chuckled to himself,
'Found you!'.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you all today to today's slave auction and I'm sure you'll find these 'goods' particularly satisfying", said the Auctioneer as he broke out a grin.
Artemis looked into the crowd and saw that all the people there had red eyes and they looked pale, some with light red eyes and some with darker red colored eyes and they were all dressed in rich weird looking outfits and then her heart dropped to her feet when she realized that she was in a room filled with vampires and she is about to be sold to one of them, then he felt bile rising to her throat and then her eyes went back to the man she ogling before and she saw him, his eyes still focused on her like he was staring into her soul then she looked away in fear.
