When i got back to the town, i started to scrape the flesh off of the hide and pop it in my mouth as a light snack to sate my boredom. i then took some boards id found to make a frame to strech the hide so it would dry evenly. i then put it on the side of the road at an angle to dry in the "sun". i didn't know what to call it but it sure as shit wasn't the sun, it was just as hot though so it worked.
after that i'd been thinking about fixing up the town so it would be safer for me to live in i'm going to start with the saloon cause it was the most stable looking building so i choose it for my projact after taring down a couple of rickity shacks i managed to patch up most of the holes in th saloon it wasnt pretty but it worked and it held in place so i didnt really care about how it looked also the inside was alot cooler than outside so that was nice i'd claimed this town as my own and im going to protect it.
now i was resting contemplating what to do with my evolution i could evolve now or wait till i need it but i was never patient man so i'm doing it now!

Well i already have a club with my bone so the thug is off the menu only leaving the leader for me to pick also the leader sounded much more useful i got an item and a skill for the price of one so my choice was obvious i chose the leader and then i fell asleep and woke up some time later groggy i got up and walked to the mirror to look at myself it was strange i had a mummified patch of skin over one eye and my shirt is even more tattered as a result of me getting bigger theres also a onyx black horn strapped on my side then i check the skill i got

Oh my god this skill is a life saver i can make friends to populate this town with and help me hunt for monsters this is awesome i immediately ran out of the saloon and out into the prairie to hunt for a monster to kill i found one of the cow things but this one had sharp wicked barbs on its horns so i'd have to be careful around this one sneaking around it i swung my club and its knee bent backwards as it howled out in pain it spun around and faced me it charged at me with its horns pointed at my chest ready to kill me i jump out of the way of its strike and bash it's other back leg twice so it brakes as well the cow is raging at how bad i'd dared to hurt it it looked as if it wanted to hurt me a thousand times what i'd done to it so in an act of desperation i dive at it's exposed side and latch on using my desperate tactic of repeated rapid fire bites to kill it i only relaxe after i heard the voice in my head

since its going to be a skeleton i may as well eat it i skin it roll up the hide and set it aside i then rip out greedy chunks of meat ranously throwing it in my mouth not even bothering to chew as i swallow then immedietly throw the next piece down my throught soon the cow is reduced to naught but a skeleton i then get up and use the skill and an inky black mass of tendrils falls from my hand and slithers over to the skeleton as i then watch the skeleton melt and reform into a hulking mass of bleached white bones hefting a large one handed sword then i hear the voice in my head

i then start to lead him to the town and show him what i need help with like moving lumber and the large boulder that had been lodged in the general store's side wall after that we built a watch post for him to use and then i went to set up the hide i got to dry also to check on the other one and it was compleatly dry so i took it off the frame and thought of what to do in the future
