Echo's face looks sad and guilty. Siren noticed it and tried to cheer him up.
Siren: But, luckily, I've survived. 😊
Echo: Yeah,..you did.
Siren: So, that's a good thing right.
Echo: yeah, it is. ehm..Siren..Actually, I..
Siren: hm?
Echo: I know it sounds like an excuse but,..I have faith that,..you'll survive. That's why I let go of your hand. But, still at the same time I (Echo remember looking at Siren face struggling in pain)..ehm..I feel so scared of what might happen if it wasn't successful.
Siren: ...
Echo: I know that even if I apologize to you it won't change back what happened to you, but I am really.. really sorry about what happen to you, back in Forestatia and I am really thankful that you've survived.
Siren: (nod lightly) Thank you,..Echo.. for telling me. But, I do hope that..I will never go through things like that ever again.
Echo: (nod) ehm..I promise... it won't happen again.
Siren: Thank you,..Echo 🙂 (I'm glad he is being considerate about me. But, still I can't bear the painful memory of making contact with the Tree of Life)
Echo stared at Siren and said..
Echo: Do you trust me,..Siren?
Siren: Trust..is a really big word. It's like a promise. I am willing to give my trust as long as the other party is willing to do so.
Echo: What if the other party breaks it?
Siren: As a human I have a feeling. So, I would say I will hate that and will not put my trust ever again.
Echo: I see.
Echo reply sounds a bit sad as if he dislikes the idea that he will be hated by Siren if he ever breaks her trust. However, Siren still has not finished her words..
Siren: But,..if there's a valid reason why that person breaks my trust,..I don't see why we can't give that person a second chance,..right 🙂
After Echo heard that, he put a petit smile on his face.
Siren: Did you just smile??

Siren: haa~ 😮💨 (He's doing it again)
Siren: So,..if I conclude your stories, the Tree of Life might be the reason that triggers the war between forest spirits and humans?
Echo: Yeah, I assume. I don't have concrete proof but, I'm confident.
Siren: hm..well, if what you're assuming is right, there might be the reason why the land is splitting as what you've read.
Echo: I guess so.
Siren: I wonder what would happen if anyone could get a hold of the sacred energy spirits.
Echo stared at Siren for a moment and picked up his cup to drink the tea inside. Once done, he put away his cup..
Echo: Well,..I assume there might be the end of the world. 🙂
Siren: Wha-What do you mean? Is it that bad?!
Echo: Something uncertain, beyond our knowledge it always picks the interest of anyone who sees it. Most of the time everyone would assume it'll bring happiness after they unravel it. But, what if..it's the opposite of what you hope it would be..for example, a disaster..and when that happens would we be able to reverse back whatever that has been done.
Siren: Disaster instead of happiness.
Echo: Sometimes there are things in this world that need to be remain a secret. But, as you know living things are so greedy especially humans. Without thinking about the consequences, the living things would unravel everything in this world as much as possible.
Siren: sigh..Yeah,..I agree with you on that. Wait a minute, then how about the spirit realm you still need to maintain? You said you'll need to use the sacred energy spirits from the Tree of Life, right.
Echo: About that..
Echo taking out the carved stone.
Siren: This is??
Echo: If you remember I have used this carved stone to summon Glowries. This carved stone is called Deltoid. Its function is to link or connect the energy spirits contain inside of it with the user for them to use. And this stone contains one of the sacred energy spirits from the Tree of Life.
Siren: I thought only humans would be able to access the Tree of Life?
Echo: Well,..this carved stone has already been stored with the sacred energy spirits. I believe it must have been done by the previous Necromancer.
Siren: I see.
Echo: As I read before Necromancer was the one who created this carved stone. That's why I need your help to track the other carved stones. Once we collect all the carved stones, I'll be able to use it to maintain the spirit realm. As I promise, I won't let you or any other Necromancer access the Tree of Life ever again. Is it okay? (shows his pinky finger).
Siren: hm..Okay, I'll help you 😄
Siren takes out her pinky finger and touches Echo pinky fingers as promised. Siren is trying to put her trust in Echo.
Eliot suddenly appears and approaches Echo. Then, he starts whispering. Echo nod lightly.
Siren: What are you two whispering about?
Echo: Nothing important.
Siren: hm..sound fishy (I guess he still didn't fully trust me)
Echo: (chuckle) You really want to know?
Siren: Of course. I thought we were in this together.
Echo: sigh..okay..
Echo stands up and approaches Siren to get close to Siren's left ear to whisper.
Echo: whispering-he was saying how I am going to roast and eat you tonight (nib Siren ear).
Siren: wargghh!! 😫😫
Siren moves backwards while blushing.
Siren: (blush while holding her ear) Wha-wha-what are you doing?!!
Eliot seems confused.
Eliot: Is everything alright, Lady Siren?
Siren nod lightly while blushing
Echo: (chuckle) 🤭
Siren: (H-he is teasing me again😣😮💨)
Echo, chuckle like a child teasing Siren, while she blush like a red tomato.
Echo: So, please get some rest, before we start our searching tonight.
Siren: Tonight?? Why not now??
Echo: As I told you before I'm a protector of this forest. And when someone needs me, I have to go.
Siren: O-kay..(Someone?? Does he mean the forest spirits?)
Echo: Eliot you can stay here taking care of Siren. I'll be back before the night comes.
Eliot: Well noted, Master Echo.
