The young billionaire arrived at Japan airport, he had a heavy guarded group as he walked down to the his car. It's been long since the death of his dad he hadn't been to Japan or Asia he looked around and all the bad memories came back to him.
He breath in the cool air as he stared at the whole place. He entered his car and drove straight to his home.
When he arrived he observed that everything was still as he left it he smiled as he glanced at the man in front of him.
"It's been a while." he said.
"Welcome sir you don't know how happy we are to see you." The butler said.
"I'm happy too." he said as he headed towards the stair straight to his room. He was a man of few words and the butler was used to that already he was really happy to see his boss again.
Some where else in Japan
Adria had a free day today but she was called to handle a file due to her intelligence they needed her opinion on particular document which is to be sent to a company close by. She arrived at her company as she went straight to the CEO's office.
Mr lu jingze said "I'm sorry to interrupted your holiday but I need your help in these papers and your sister told me about how you easily solved her company documents when you both were in Nigeria." He said immediately she entered his office.
"It's fine sir." she said as they both stared at each other "can we start." Adria offered. She left akio at home and though she knew he was safe since haru was around but she still felt uncomfortable cause Yan Chen was not at home she had a flight tonight.
"Alright sit down, here." he said as he passed her the file to her "here you go."
Adria took the paper and glanced through it for some seconds and looked back at him "There is.....sorry to say but this looks like a joke, you don't presume to assume in a document of alliance and there's no place stating what the other party has to get in this alliance, the document is one sided and our company name isn't here may I ask why?." Adria asked curiously.
He smiled "You are really smart as your sis said." he pressed the button on his table and said "Nora get in here immediately." he screamed ignoring Adria's question.
Adria got the message and decided to mind her business this boss of hers was strange "Can I leave now."
"Oh of course you can but take these files home and edit it the way you seem fit." He said handing the papers to her.
"Alright." she took the file and she walked out Nora entered the office Adria could here mr lu scream at Nora you are fired she wanted to go in there to save her but she had to mind her business she couldn't help and this wasn't her company after all.
She looked at the files in her hands and sighed 'more work' she thought to herself as she headed home. Still worried about akio she called haru but it didn't go through must be busy she thought to herself as she hurried to the her car, arriving at the company parking lot she was stunned by what she witnessed a young lady and a dude making out in the front of her car.
"Hey." Adria called out to them they turned to look at her and Adria was shocked to the point she took a step back she immediately shook off the feeling as she smiled softly "Hey Asachi, nice seeing you...here." She said as she glanced at him and the lady next to him.
"Ad-Adria." Asachi was stunned to see her, feeling ashamed he stood there confused "what are you doing here I thought....." he trailed off.
"I had a incomplete work so I came to get it." she said shaking the papers in her hand.
"Oh ok." he said wondering why she hasn't left yet she just stood there making him feel ashamed.
Adria stared at them for a while before speaking "I would like to enter my car if you don't mind." Breaking the awkward moment.
"Huh.... I....when did you get a new car." he asked.
"There's a lot about me you don't know dear." she smiled at the lady next to him sweetly "Your so pretty don't break his heart or I'll kill you." she said as she entered her car and drove off.
Asachi moved out of the way holding Sofia, he stood there staring at the car which left 'why does he feel like he just broke her heart why does he feel hurt but she didn't even act up she got prettier why doesn't she want him' he thought to himself.
Sofia faked a cough to bring him out of his head "Are you ok?." She inquired.
"Hmm....yh let's go." he said as they entered his car and went straight to the club.
"Who was she?." Sofia asked.
"She is a good friend of mine." he said simply.
"Oh I actually thought you guys were exes back there." she said feeling relieved, she wasn't going to take chances.
"No." But I wish we were more than exes tho he thought to himself.
"Can you make her my friend too." she has to be close to her competition as she has said earlier she wasn't going to take chances.
"What? Umm I don't know, Maybe." they parked and entered the club. Lately that's what they both do make out, party and do nasty things together.
Adria rushed home, entering her building she didn't see haru at his place she was having an uneasy feeling so she rushed to her house as she entered her house she looked around and everything was ok she walked in she knew something was wrong she called out to akio but there was no reply she ran into her room and every other place but no sigh of anyone.
"Shit! shit!!." she shouldn't have left, she ran out of the house feeling frustrated she called haru, but his number wasn't going through she went back to her house and looked carefully around. At the end she came to the conclusion that the people who did this was a close friend or someone and had been watching them for a long time. She picked up her phone and dialed her shadow guard number it went through immediately.
"Good day boss." He said.
"What happened." She asked angrily "what happened in my house."
"Haru was ambushed and they took the kid." He said simply.
"And why didn't help." She asked.
"I have only orders to protect and follow only you ma'am." He replied.
"Rubbish! can you hear yourself." Adria screamed "A kid is gone a poor child is gone!."
"I'm sorry ma'am but I was just following orders.....but I followed them in secret tho and I'm outside the place where they are held." He said
"Send me the address." she Immediately taking off her clothes she went into her room and picked her gun where it was hidden in a shelf, she took dang pond and daggers she headed towards her car and immediately received the address driving very fast she arrived at the place in no time.
She met up with her shadow guard. "What's the update who's behind this." She asked watching the place.
"I don't know but it seems like whoever did this, owns the gang." He said studying the area.
"Shit alright stay here and I'll go check ok." She said as she stood up from the car.
"No ma I can't do that I'll go with you." He said
"Stay! That's an order!." She said feeling frustrated.
"I'm sorry ma'am but I'm only respecting Berlina's orders." He said.
"So did Berlina tell you not to help a poor kid huh." Adria scolds.
"Actually ...yes." He said looking at everywhere except for her.
Adria scoffed in disbelief "what rubbish."
"Your more important to her ma'am and she said there's a possibility that the kid will be find." He said with a frown stamped on her face.
"What do you mean." She asked.
"There's a possibility that the kidnapper is Yan Chen's husband, that's what she said cause there's no other reason to abduct a child in sly manner." He said
Adria thought about it "your right." she said nodding her head "alright let's make a deal I go in-."
"No ma."he cut her off
"Let me speak! I go in and if I don't come out in 2hours surround the place with your guy." She said
"It's too dangerous ma'am." He said.
"It's an order." she said as she left.
Walking into the place she saw no one, but immediately she passed the second door her face was covered she played along and let them lead her they led her to a room and locked her after a while.
She stayed in there for a while her eyes were covered so she began to work it out eventually the blind fold came off and she looked around her it was a dark room had no windows just a bed and a table she scoffed "pathetic people I hope my boy isn't in this kind of situation." She checked her watch as she waited for them to return probably by now there still talking things out
Bored as hell she touched her self to check if her weapons were intact the gun was already seized by them which was part of her plan she entered the door that lead to the toilet there she found what she was looking for an accessible root.
She climbed on top of the toilet seater and tried to reach the ceiling but she couldn't she tried a number of times and then she placed her legs on the flusher thingy as she went to inside the roof and she crawled into it she peeped through few openings pouring the substance in her hand after she was done she tried going back just for her to she few people approaching her room
"Shit." she said loudly when she realized she was to loud she placed her hand on her mouth and hurried back.
The guys who heard the sound looked around them they walked fast to the room which they locked her arriving there they began to open the door
Adria finally arranged everything back in the toilet she felt a bit uncomfortable something didn't feel right the moment she opened the toilet door she saw the door knob turning that means the guys were already there immediately she tried to run towards the bed the whole place spinned and she landed on the floor feeling very weak 'dehm the powder' she thought to herself she inhaled the chemical powder it felt like all her bones were broken so the best thing she could do was play dead.
The men entered inside and found her on the floor, one approached her and pushed her to see if she was joking when he felt her breathing really slow he turned to his guys with a cold face.
"She passed out, Call the doctor." The tall well built man ordered.
"Yes boss." They said as two left the place
'Oh no doctor jeez I thought bad guys don't do doctors oh no.'' Adria thought to herself she had to think of something and fast.
