The guy took her to the top floor, Adria lost count of how many stairs and turns they had made. Finally they got to a dark passage, they walked in for a while before he stood at a door.
'I hope this man doesn't want to use me as a sacrifice to God knows what' Adria thought to herself.
With a click the door opened, Adria could see inside the room as she peeped through her disheveled hair. He had carried her over his shoulder so he couldn't see her face.
He placed her on the bed and stared at her, he removed the hairs on her face to get a better view of the her face "She's beautiful." he murmured.
Leaning close to her he smelled her hair, it smelled really nice, like strawberries and sunflowers he sigh with pleasure her smell was addictive just like a drug.
Adria felt disgust by the way he smelled her, she struggled to keep a straight face as a her brows knot together.
He looked at this and smiled "Having a bad dream little lad."
Adria maintained her posture and didn't move, he straightened out her brows with his finger and ruffled her hair, immediately the door opened a bit.
"Who's that?" he said in a loud voice feeling displeased.
"It's me Nian." A tall man with brown hair came into sight.
"Come in." Min said. Nian entered and stood in front of him.
"What do you want." he asked sternly.
"Brother why are you still keeping her here, she is the one who helped my wife get a divorce from me and almost killed me too." Nian complained.
"Hmm I know but she's not doing too good is she." Min said.
"This might be one of her plans to deceive us." Nian said feelings angry at his brothers adamance.
"Oh really so what do you want me to do?" Min asked feeling bored.
"Let's kill her." Nian said bluntly.
Adria heard this and stiffened, there focus wasn't on her so they didn't notice.
"Hmm why not. You tell me to get your son I did, you tell me to book a flight to distract your wife I did, you ask for money I give and now you want me to kill a poor lady who did nothing to you huh! you demand too much brother." Min said tapping his fingers on his legs.
"I'm sorry, I just feel she will bring trouble the earlier we get rid of her the better." Nian said as he stared at the past out lady on the bed.
Min stared at Nian for a while as he stared back at the lady on the bed following his eyes. "I won't kill her." Min said calmly.
"Brother don't tell me you lik-" Nian eyes widened in surprise but get interrupted by Min who stood up from the bed and approached him.
"I don't. There's only one person I liked and that stupid boy took her away from me!" he said harshly as he held Nian up from his shirt, seeing how stupid he looked he dragged him close and whispered "Look how pathetic you have become, no one will ever believe were blood siblings." Min spat in disgust.
"Brother stop your hurting me." Nian whined.
Min released his brother and said "Leave!." He said and added "A piece of advice, stop adhering to mom and dads advice." He said as he turned his back on his brother.
Nian left as he was angry by his brother's attitude all because of a girl, his brother was never moved by any lady since Xi Cheng's death. He often had his way with any girl he wanted forcefully or acceptably and would kill them, that was a fixation that he had lived with for years.
Nian looked at the closed door and smiled "Let's see if you don't kill her before today ends after having his full." Nian said to himself.
This was a psychological problem, he often slept with young ladies that looked or smelled like xi cheng and would kill them after he had led them to his bed.
When Nian left Adria steered on the bed, Min stared at her from the place he stood as her eyes fluttered opened.
"I expected a hazel eyes tho." he smirked looking directly at her.
Adria stared at him calmly without saying a word.
"What's your name?." he said as he walked towards the bed. Still no reply.
"You don't speak." he lend close and helped her sit up.
"I do." Adria said as she lend close like she was going to give a kiss, he was amused by her attitude but played along, he pushed his face closer and the next minute Adria smashed the lamp on his head as she staggered out of the room.
When she came out she looked around but everywhere looked the same, she staggered towards the road which she felt was the one they came through walking down she found the dark passage she was on the right track.
When she was about to run off she spoke to her guard outside through the device in her ear that was really tiny, one will think is was a mole. She told them not to attack till they get orders from her, she stepped down to the second floor as she was about to leave she heard a voice, she turned to the door where the voice came from "Akio." she whispered.
As she turned towards the door she tried opening the door but immediately a strong hand rapped around her as it pulled her away from the door "Feisty huh." Min whispered in her ears.
She struggled with him screaming "Let me go!." hitting his hand but he didn't budge, he carried her to the previous room and tossed her in the bed.
"So you wanna run huh." He chuckled softly.
"Give me my boy." Adria said angrily.
"What boy?." He acted confused.
"Akio." She said.
"Oh nian's kid." He smirked.
"Huh." Adria was lost who was Nian.
"Yan Chen's kid." He said clearing her misconception.
"Yes." Adria said watching his every movement.
"If I do what do I get?." He asked with a smile laced on his lips.
"Huh?." She was confused.
"That's my little nephew we are talking about, giving him to you means I'll be betraying my brother and if I do that I'll have to get something in return. Don't you think so?." He smiled.
"Wh...what do you want in return?." She tested her luck at this point.
"Hmm let me think." He thought about a lot of things like sharing a night or probably a huge amount she won't be able to get but he's didn't just feel like hurting her so he just blurted out "Maybe a date."
"Fine I'll give you enough mo-." Adria was caught off guard she thought he would ask for money.
"I'm not done little mouse, a date with you." He chuckled
"What? no way." Adria replied on impulse, frowning she stood up to leave
"Oh! then he could stay here forever." He threatened.
Adria panicked and stopped right where she was "Ok....fine fine just a date."
"Hm that's my girl." he said as he approached her touching her hair his eyes softened.
Adria slapped his hands off "Can I go now."
"Yes but you don't look too good, so wait for a little while the doctor will be here soon." He said calmly as he stepped out.
He meet with the doctor and gave him few orders as he lead him to the room which Adria was.
When they arrived, the doctor came inside and examined Adria "I think we will have to run a test on her sir." The doctor requested.
"A test? No I don't want that just give me a shot of tetracycline and iodine." she ordered.
The doctor was stunned and turned to Gu Min who nodded as approval.
He began to mix the drugs, Adria stared at him cautiously studying all his movements, she didn't trust any of them.
When the doctor put the drugs at once, he picked up another drug and put it in the injection.
"What's that? what are you doing I did ask for that." Adria said cautiously looking at his expressions.
The doctor stared at her and then at Gu Min who smirked in a mocking manner.
"These are vitamins." Gu min said to Adria with a straight face.
"That doesn't look anything like vitamins." Adria said.
The doctor peached in "I added little blood tonic."
Adria accepted the drugs and after a while she slept off. Gu Min smirked "Smarty pants." he said trailing her face line and whispered in her ear "That wasn't a blood tonic alone, it had a sleeping drug. I don't want you to leave so soon." he said as he laid next to her holding her tightly he closed his eyes.
