"She notices something weird"
Hae Won: Omo ...there's another picture behind this one
She takes the pictures and separates them just to get the shock of her life
Hae Won:(shocked) Omo!...
It's a picture of Miss Park holding a baby in the hospital just after giving birth
Hae Won:(dumbfound) She has a kid....but why didn't she say anything....I won't stay quiet this time she'll surely talk to me
She replaces the frame and puts back their picture taking the other picture with her.She heads back to the hospital and gets there as Miss Park is sleeping .
Hae Won:(frustrated) I wish you would just open up to me.
She goes out to make a call
On call
Ricky:(sleepy) Who calls someone in the middle of the night
Hae Won: Someone who needs help
Ricky: (annoyed) What is it?
Hae Won: I've just sent you a picture ,I need you to look into it.
Ricky :(waking up)Wait let me check it out....Mmm isn't that Miss Park
Hae Won: Yes it's her
Ricky :(surprised)She has a kid?
Hae Won: Yes I need you to find out anything about that.I think this is the lead we've been looking for .We're lucky there's a date on the picture you can check which people gave birth on that day we just might finally get her name
Ricky: Okay I'll look into it tomorrow
Hae Won: Do it now please
Ricky: Aish okay okay I'm on it.
After hours of digging Ricky finally finds something and informs Hae Won about it.
The following day Miss Park is discharged and they go home.
Hae Won just goes to the study waiting to get confronted and it doesn't take long for Miss Park to come barging in
Miss Park : (frantic) Where is it?
Hae Won places the picture on her desk
Hae Won: Here you go
Miss Park:(surprised) How did you get it?
Hae Won: Being clumsy has it's perks but that not the major issue here ...you have a son
Miss Park:(nervous) Well...
Hae Won: Don't even try to think of a lie,it's time you told the truth for once
Miss Park: Yes I have a son
Hae Won: And where is he?
Miss Park: I don't know.i gave him up for adoption .
Hae Won: (smiling) Is that so...
Miss Park: Yes
Hae Won: And the father?
Miss Park: He died
Hae Won: I just saw him on the news though. He seems alive
Miss Park :(confused) What..
Hae Won: (chuckles) I know it's Mr Lee and (laughing) that son of yours whose whereabouts you don't know ... gave you a heartattack just yesterday.
Miss Park: (shocked) But how..
Hae Won: I asked you to be honest but you still lied to me
Miss Park: The thing is..
Hae Won: You're ashamed to tell me about your past as Mr Lee's lover?
Miss Park: (nervous) You know everything ?
Hae Won: Yes ...(smirking) Jiyoung
Miss Park: It's been a while since someone called me by my name....(sad)I was stupid when I was younger...I believed he loved me...I got pregnant but he married another woman...She got the house,the cars ,the fancy clothes and most importantly his love... whilst I got booted out
Hae Won: And then ?
Miss Park: It was my fault for being naive...There was a time I wanted to kill myself but I thought of my baby...He gave me strength...I wanted to live solely for him...But then as I had just taken that picture Mr Lee came in ...He took my baby and his man dragged me out of the hospital...They made me sign a contract then gave me a bag full of money and told me to leave or they would kill me...I took the money
She breaks down and starts crying
Miss Park: But I just couldn't leave my son...I started spying around the house,following him everywhere he went ...I could see she loved him like her own...(crying) And he.....he loved her as well...I watched him grow up from afar living in the shadows...But then 1 day I got caught,this time there was no bag full of money it was just them and a gun ....As i looked in the eyes of death I thought to myself "Jiyoung you should've just talked to your son once"...Atleast I would have died in peace...But my time wasn't up...I was saved by Mr X ,my angel....I never knew why he did that but I was ever grateful...A month later he called me ,told me he needed a favour ...And that favour was you.
Hae Won:(sympathetic) I'm sorry you went through all that.
Miss Park: (sad)It's okay just learn from my mistakes
Hae Won: I'm sure if you came out to Hyun Bin he would understand
Miss Park: He already has a mother he doesn't need me.
Hae Won: She might have raised him but she could never take your place
Miss Park: I played with fire and I almost got burnt ,I won't do that again.As long as he's happy I'm okay
Hae Won: If you say so...But doesn't she feel bad raising someone else's son
Miss Park: Mr Lee keeps her in the dark,he probably cooked up some story for her.
Hae Won: I see,so will you finally tell me who Mr X is ?
Miss Park: You'll find out when the time is right.
Hae Won: Will it ever be right
Miss Park: Maybe ,maybe not
Hae Won: (annoyed) Aishh there's no winning with you
Miss Park: Will you tell me.what you have been doing. I know you're up to something
Hae Won: You can't even tell me who Mr X is so do you think I'll tell you anything you want to know
Miss Park: No..but
Hae Won: There're no buts...I can't get you involved when I don't fully trust you. If I didn't already know the truth you would've lied straight to my face.
Miss Park: I understand where you're coming from , just make sure you don't end up causing more harm than good
Hae Won: I can't make any promises at this point.
