H.dad:Why is there so much salt in this food.
Hae Won:(nervous) I'm sorry ...
H.dad:(mad)Do you know I work hard to put food on the table and this what you do
Hae Won:(scared) I'm sorry ..
H.dad:(throwing the bowl on the floor)Sorry doesn't cut it,it won't bring back the money you just wasted.
Hae Won: I won't do it again
H.dad:(pissed) I know you won't, now we don't have the privilege to waste any food eat that.
Hae Won: Off the floor?
H.dad:Thats where it is isn't it
Hae Won: But dad...
H.dad:(standing up) Should I make you
Hae Won:(scared) No ...no... no
She immediately gets on her knees and starts eating the food he threw on the floor.
Present time
As she tries to clear her throat she spits onto Hyun Bin .Seconds after she runs to the bathroom to throw up.
Miss Park helps Hyun Bin clean up and even gives him one of her t-shirts to change into
Hyun Bin: Is she okay ?
Miss Park: (nervous) Yes she said she just had too much to eat,don't worry about it.
Hyun Bin: Awee,can I go check on her before I go
Miss Park:Well..
Hyun Bin:(cutting her off)Please
Miss Park: Okay sure,
Hae Won: (suddenly appearing) You don't need to check on me ,I'm perfectly fine. You can leave now.
Hyun Bin: Awe ....okay,....thank you for the meal
Miss Park: (shy)You're welcome
Hyun Bin let's himself out
Hae Won: I'll be back I need to go to the pharmacy, I ran out of my pills.
Miss Park: I thought you had stopped taking those.
Hae Won: I don't think I'll be able to sleep without them tonight
Miss Park:(worried) Are you having nightmares again?
Hae Won: They never stopped, I just started to endure it.Its the flashbacks I can't stand .
Miss Park: I'm sorry
Hae Won:Don't be ,it's not like you cause them. I'll be back late don't wait up for me
She just storms out of the house leaving Miss Park perplexed not knowing if she should be happy that she finnaly got to meet her son or be sad as she can clearly see Hae Won isn't well.
Hae Won gets in her car and cries for a while then makes her way to the pharmacy. As she's by the counter someone she didn't expect walks in.He gets the same prescription as hers.
Hae Won:(chuckles) So it does keep you up at night
Sung-jin:(meh)I'd rather not talk outside of work
Hae Won:(annoyed) The nerve...okay then.
She gets her stuff then leaves and goes to see Yuri.
Hae Won: Hey....sorry I took a while to come back...How have you been...You're probably having alot of fun wherever you are...You must be really watching down on me because everything is going according to plan...Real soon you'll see some evil souls going to hell...I'll get going now...See you in my dreams.
As she's living she sees Sung-jin once more and she just spies on him
Sung-jin:Hey...,I didn't want to see you but I had nothing else to do so here I am.I can only imagine where you are now.Maybe mom put in a good word for you and you somehow made it to heaven like she did.Now I'm left here paying off your debt with my soul,I hope you're happy about that.I can't even sleep at night now i know why you drank so much. Just wait and see one day break this vicous cycle like my mother intended.I won't be coming around anytime soon so don't expect anything. I had brought you a bottle of soju ,but I think I'll take it home with me since you can't drink it anyway.
He just storms out whilst Hae Won hides.
Hae Won:So that's his dad...I can't even feel pity for him...He doesn't deserve my compassion...
She also leaves and heads home.She takes her pill and just waits to fall asleep
Next day
Mrs Lee: You boys came in late last night.
Hyun Bin: I passed by a friends place
Sung-jin: I had things to do
Mr Lee:(mockingly) Passed by a friends place,(mad)you should be working twice as hard now since you lost to Sung-jin!
Hyun Bin:(annoyed) I don't need this in the morning when I'm just trying to have my breakfast
Mr Lee: (chuckles) You're talking back to me again , (pissed)I might as well leave all my inheritance to Sung-jin
Mrs Lee:Honey!
Hyun Bin: Your inheritance threats don't work on me old man.
Mr Lee: (drawing his gun)This little bastard
Mrs Lee:Just go ,before you make him more angry.
Both of the boys leave
Mr Lee:(frustrated) I don't know what to do with him.
Mrs Lee: Just treat him like your son.
Mr Lee: I'm trying to toughen him up but he doesn't seem to care.Im leaving everything to this fool who doesn't even care if he inherits anything or nothing.
Mrs Lee: Maybe he doesn't need someone to "toughen him up" he just needs a dad who calls him by his name and says "you've done well " once in a while.
She storms off
Mr Lee: (pissed)That's not how if works in this industry. It's kill or be killed ,I don't have time to sugarcoat everything.
He storms out of the house
MEANWHILE .....Hae Won meets up with Mr Jung
Mr Jung: Everything is going to plan
Hae Won: Yes it's just a matter of time now
Mr Jung: It might take a while
Hae Won: I've got all the patience I need .
Mr Jung: How is Sung-jin fitting in
Hae Won: Still serious, he's just a pawn .A very loyal one which makes him a threat.Once he's out of the way it will be easy to bring down the main prize
Mr Jung: How about those other three guards
Hae Won: Ricky is looking into them he should have the results by the end of the day.
Mr Jung :Okay keep me posted.I have a meeting soon
Hae Won:(smiling)With the rate you're working we just might see the light at the end of the tunnel real soon
Mr Jung: I just need to do this for you and him.
Hae Won: You're a good friend
Mr Jung: So are you,(checking his watch)good bye your guests will be here soon.
Mr Jung goes off leaving Hae Won at the restaurant in the private room.She goes to the loo and when she comes back there's someone else in the room.
