"The Banned Mare" Alexander said quietly. He through the doors of the tavern. The place was bustling with activity and it was loud. It reminded him of club's from his old world.
But after looking around for a while he realised he might of been mistaken. This place seemed more like old bar than a club. He was felling a little anxious, standing in this place.
He quickly found a empty seat and sat down. He felt the hardness of the wooden chair as he sat down. It was uncomfortable and he trying to get use to it.
One could see him squiming in his chair, he was trying his hardest to get use to it. He really never sat on a chair without any padding on it.
He was still getting use to when suddenly he was interrupted by a woman. He looked up and saw her face. He was shocked when he saw her. She had a little to much makeup on, thick mascara and lipstick. Her brunette hair was tied up in a bun.
He felt that the woman would of looked prettier if she didn't have so much makeup on.
"What would you like?" she asked. Alex was sattled by the sudden question but his face remained the same.
He wasn't sure what to order so he just asked for some water. When she left he paid attention to his surroundings. He was trying to pick up on something. So far it was unimportant the waitress left and came back but this, but he heard nothing regarding this Sarface gang.
As he was drinking his water, he suddenly heard something. It was not about the Scarface gang but something he found very interesting.
He heard one people in the tavern talk. "Im glad you weren't there. Me and my companions were having a drink after a day of good work, when suddenly we felt the whole place shake. It was like an earthquake or something, we were all startled and not just me and my companions; but everyone in the tavern.
We all went outside to check, and that's when we saw it. The creature looked unnatural, it looked like a hairless ape; it kept it's body low to the ground. It's hands and feet were large, it had knobs of horns running from the crown of it's head to the base of it spine. It was a Abyssul scavenger and wasn't the only one, from the corners of the street came out a few more."
"What city did you say this was again" his friend asked. "Balder's Gate, we were lucky we even made it out alive and didn't even tell you craziest part yet."
"What is it?" his friend asked. "Their were devils there as well." "No way" his friend said "But I thought demons and devils hated each other?" He stared at his friend and smirked. "Yes they do, they were to bizzy fighting each other to pay us much attention. I think that's how we managed to escape."
