Ling Xue clasped her hands and asked quietly, "What exactly do you mean, Choa Xiang?" Ling Xue was not angry with Choa Xiang.
Snorting, Shu Yan pointed at Choa Xiang and said, "What else could he possibly mean?" She clicked her mouth and added, "The man is frail and wants to avoid conflict." Shu Yan's nasty behavior effortlessly destroyed the image of a celestial woman that she and Ling Xue had created.
Hearing Shu Yan, Choa Xiang maintained eye contact as his thinking changed rapidly. He thought, 'What is wrong with this lady? Is she experiencing her menstrual cycle?' Chao Xiang inwardly grimaced as he wondered why Shu Yan's manner was irritating, even with her power level. He realized that power and authority in the wolves' community were not solely age-related but a combination of skill, experience, and resources. Chao Xiang even considered being older than Shu Yan and Ling Xue.
