Chapter 10 - Pretty Boy

"If you give your heart to a heartbreaker, it's pretty obvious that he will break it", taking a nip from the glass, the girl inclined her body on cushions that were clipped to the back of the couch.

"Feelings doesn't have to involve for him to break you. Even if it's only sex, his touch drives girls crazy to Narnia, pleading for more but he doesn't do the same girl twice", the expression of boys were steady, lips curved upward, eyes fixed, speaking as if he was educating the professor on some useful information.

"Lucky him that he's not my age fellow or I'd not mind playing with the heart of a heartbreaker", the girl chugged down the remaining cocktail in one go.

"And while playing, it, perhaps, would slip off my hands, you know, I'm a little clumsy", she put the glass on the table and gestured to the wine waiter who was passing by their side to drop more drinks. The waiter emptied the plate he was carrying, lining all the glasses on the table.

"You're funny", the boy commented, quite surprised by the girl's audacious, confident and bold personality.

"Just being honest here. I mean someone oughta have to teach him how a heartbreak sounds and feels", her eyes scanned all the drinks before her and picked up a transparent one. The one that was see-through, a clear and dark booze.

"If I were not gay, I would take you out somewhere high tonight for sure", the professor felt her heart dropping at the unexpected disclosure. Why all the handsome guys on earth were gay! On the topic now, Dylan was also handsome. She would never admit this to his face. This boy sitting next to her was also standing out in the night with his handsome personality but available to certain group of people.

"Somewhere high so you could push me over the edge?", Scarlett finished the alcohol in the glass in two chugs. If another handsome boy walked to her and told her that he was gay, the girl might jump off a cliff in distress.

"Nah...I'd make you scream my name enough louder to be heard by the world", the girl started laughing hysterically. Was her mind drowning in alcohol? The boy was tempting her even after telling her that he was not into girls.

"Sadly, you can't make me scream but there's someone who would be in paradise under you", the boy gave Scarlett a questioning look. She had good alcohol tolerance so she wasn't out of her mind yet. If she didn't have the luck on her side tonight, she would drag it to the side of her friend who had gone off the spot a few minutes ago to bring himself something to drink.

"Prof--I mean Scarlett, I ran into..", speaking of him, Dylan appeared from behind the girl, different questions flooding in his eyes after seeing the girl sitting near to a boy who looked of the same age as him.

"Liar~~she said that she wouldn't let anyone touch her until she finds someone for me first. What is this now!", the boy's lips pursed, a childishly sulk turning on the boy next to the professor.

"So, have you completed your studies?", Scarlett smiled, switching her gaze from her annoyed friend to the boy.

"Long ago. Looking after my dad's business. I've not seen you two before. First time here?", the boy was suddenly interested in the two, more in the boy who was looking at the girl as if she had stolen something from him.

"No, we come often to chill and kick up our heels. But tonight we were on a one-nighter mission that looks like failing badly", the professor continued ignoring her friend. Now that she had found a handsome boy for him, she could piss him off a little to her liking.

"Well, I'ma tell you that it's not mission impossible", the boy responded to the girl, eyeing every action of Dylan who was about to sit but before he would, the boy stood up, making Dylan taking one step back.

Dylan was wearing a sky blue shirt that was buttoned down the length of the shirt with white jeans. The pout on his lips working its way, making the boy look cuter.

"I see you were talking about him. I like cute things. Thanks for this", he winked at the girl.

"Shall we get going now, pretty boy?", bringing his stare at Dylan, he grabbed his hand.

"Where?", if what he was thinking was right, did the girl choose this boy for him! She knew that he liked cute, sparkly muffins than a hot, spicy meal! She couldn't betray him like this!

"Where the moon meets the sea. Let's go. The night is long", the girl mimicked a throwing up person at the cheesy statement of the boy. She never liked those romantic, cliché stuff, was rather on the wild and rough side.

"Will you be okay to dri---", Dylan was shortly interrupted by the abruptly shaking head of the professor.

"Don't worry about me. I'll leave after a couple more shots."

"Take my car then", fishing the keys out of his pockets, the boy tossed them in her direction.

"Dylan, remember what Dr. Gordon said? Have a good weekend", the boy flushed red, shooting the girl a glare. As he tried to free his hand from the hold of a stranger he just met, the other boy grinned at him and dragged him out.

Now, the professor was sitting alone in the jammed club, taking shots one after the other, enjoying the movie she was getting to watch live. The things were still heated between the curly-haired boy and the girl on his lap. Their sex drive appeared perpetually boosting with every second passing. She wondered for how long the couple would stay there? They were clearly taking things to the next level. They should've gotten themselves a room already.

Well, it looked like they finally decided to take a break and continue things in a room as the girl got off the lap of the boy but what the professor hadn't expected was watching her crouching down, adjusting herself in between the legs of the boy. That was it. She was getting bored of the same movie scenes.

Taking one last shot, she squinted her eyes. After the vision became clear, she held the car keys in her hand and stood on her feet. She stumbled past the couple. The tolerance had passed over a while ago when she continued sipping on liquors. She didn't even know what drinks she had been drinking. The transparent ones were probably dry martini and tequila. She wasn't sure about the rest colourful drinks, evidently alcoholic as she was feeling flying in clouds.

When the girl was struggling to make her way down the stairs, the high heels she was wearing made the situation worse for her. Just as she lifted her foot for the next step, the heel misstepped but before she could fall down a flight of stairs, a hand was thrown in her direction. Wrapping it around the waist of the girl, it pulled back the body and held it in place to prevent the professor from landing on the floor.
