Sabastian never changed back into his fragile form. Something was different while he was in his wolf form. It could be that the voices in his head ceased or the superior power did not affect him as it did in his fragile state. He curled in a ball before the tree. I did not mind. His fur was comfortable. Sitting and leaning against him was like sitting on a couch.
So good.
He rested his chin on his paw and never complained when I petted him. His soft whimpers were more than enough to draw concerns.
"What's wrong?" I scratched behind his ears. Wolves liked being caressed. All pets did. Sabastian was no pet, though. He was a powerhouse of a man, who was more vicious than a Lycan. I doubt anyone could take him down. Kyleon single-handedly brought a Lycan to near death once. That was because the man talked smack about his father. Kyleon never killed him in the latter end. If it was Sabastian, he would have never spared him.
