The suits were typically the same one she had on. They glanced at the suit before putting it on, but it was difficult for them to put it on as it was made of metal.
Immediately, we saw the suit moving itself and it open widely by splitting into two parts, the front part and the back part. The front part attached itself to us at front and also the back part got attached to us at the back..
"I'm just letting you know, but you can't remove those suits once it's on you. Not while you're not changed." The alien lady said and they both looked at her with a frown on their faces.
She made her way outside and they also followed her.
"So, what's this team about?" Greg finally asked as they headed towards a big Sandy field.
"You will soon know what I mean. But let me tell you this, I'm not suppose to be talking with you but since we're the same, I will try and talk with you only when these guys aren't around." she said as she looked towards a pure alien who stood by some men.
In the field, they saw several mens lifting large rocks and heavy metals, some were doing push ups and their abs are showing proudly. They weren't in the metal suit, and Greg was wondering why it was so. They also saw some men running and jogging all around the field.
"Is this... What we'll be doing??" Merly asked surprised by the sight she had just experienced.
"Yeah, you'll be doing this after you do some test and have gotten changed." The alien lady replied.
"Changed??" Greg replied.
"A few weeks ago, a fight took place when a VR Competition was held." she explained.
"A VR Competition? VR games! Do you also play VR's here?" Greg asked the lady and she nodded.
"The idea was brought up by an human named Gray John." The lady answered.
"Gray John?!" That sounds familiar to me." Greg said as he thought hard on where he had heard the name.
"He's a friend of your father." The alien lady said and merly's eyes widened.
"How do you know that?" Merly questioned her as she stop to have a good view of the lady. She placed her hands on her waist like someone who was about to start a fight and stood in front of the alien lady.
"Ohh, I forgot! someone here also knows the story, didn't you?" she said as she continue walking. Greg looked at merly with a conspicuous look and gave her a frown.
"What did she mean by that?" Greg inquired.
"It's nothing! Merly answered as she walked forward in hopes of catching up with the lady alien. Greg also followed, but he was slightly angry that merly didn't give him a reply to his question.
"This Gray John, where is he?" He asked.
The alien lady lady took a look at Greg and replied; "You mean the betrayal." she said and turned her head back, "He is the main reason why we are fighting now."
"What do you mean?" he asked again.
"What I mean is that, everyone here wants to leave this place back to earth but the aliens wouldn't let you go,.. not when we are still in the middle of an alien battle." she mumbled the last part to herself and hopefully, Greg and Merly didn't hear.
"What you're saying now,.. Are you an human or an Alien?" Greg asked.
"Nice question, I didn't know you could quickly notice that, but it proves that you are smart. Well, for your question, I am both." She said as she went to approach some pure aliens that were in a distance from where they are.
They all stood without talking and after a minute, or so, the alien lady started coming towards them.
' Does it mean that she is an human and also an alien. Is that really possible?
Man, why is everything just so confusing and in parables?? ' Greg thought as he looked at Merly Who was silent since. ' And she's even keeping secrets from me, her twin brother! '
Greg thought as anger started rising in him. If not for the aliens that are nearby and because Merly was weak, he would have slapped her or possibly beat her up for keeping secrets from him and also making the fool of him.
The alien lady joined them and pointed towards a building for them to enter.
"So as I was saying, a fight took place between our city and another city. Almost all of the aliens of our city got killed in just that day. It was a terrible experience for all.
We are all short of aliens, and we now have an everlasting enemy. Because now, the three cities surrounding us has taken us as an enemy and they want to destroy us all.
So, to make up for all our dead ones, we have decided to bring in more humans and change them.
And now, let's see what you'll be!" The Alien lady said as they entered a room and in an instance, some aliens took Greg and Merly and they were seated on a chair. And the alien lady stood at the entrance viewing all what is happening.
The aliens were five in numbers but two aliens held their hands tightly and ropes from nowhere were used to bind them tight to the chair.
Immediately, an injection started moving towards them and they could see it floating in the sky by itself. Also, a blue liquid was inside and it was floating all about in the syringe.
Merly was getting scared and so is Greg. They looked at the alien Lady and saw her giving them a sign to calm down and to not be afraid.
" What the hell is this this? " Greg shouted
" Get me out of here!!" Merly also shouted.
But the aliens didn't care at all. The injections continue moving towards Greg and merly's arm. And it entered their skin, without anybody holding it.
The blue liquid was injected into Greg and Merly, And soon after, their bodies started changing.
