"Welcome to the family!" The alien lady said. "I'm Linky, the first Humalien to have a tail."
"What do you mean?" Greg and merly asked as they free themselves from the rope that binded there hands. It was like shaking off an ant from your hands.
"The test was a success, you are now an alien, I mean an Humalien, and a strong one at that." Linky said.
"An Humalien? What's an Humalien?" Greg said as he noticed a tail at Merly's butt and she also have a wing.
"Oh my! Merly what are you?" Greg asked surprisingly.
"Or I should ask what kind of creature you are!" Merly Answered back, slightly angry.
On Greg's back was a pair of wings that were colourless in colour, it was the same as Merly's wing. And on his hands were a bow and an arrow, they were reddish white in colour.
While Merly has two shortswords with her.
"You are humaliens, part human and part alien. Both races are strong and according to our tests, we tried to combine both races together in an unnatural way and the result are what you are seeing. A new body, with a special type of power, and additional weapons that matches the power of the individual, also immortality and improved heights. There may be some other things added but the most common types are the immortality and improved heights." Linky explained.
Greg and Merly's mouth were open wide in amazement.
"Do you mean I'm not human? We're not human?" Greg was wondering.
"I've answered your question. You are an Humalien. And it's time for you to get named. Follow me!" Linky said.
"Get named?" Merly exclaimed, "But we have names already."
"You now have a new body, silly!" Linky shouted as she head out of the room.
Merly and Greg stared at each other before following Linky.
"Why is everything weird here?!" Merly said.
In a large hall, several impure aliens, also known as humaliens, were all lined up on a queue. The queue was a very long one and the beginning of the queue leads into a room.
"This is the divinity soul hall. It is where all humaliens visit once they have been changed. The diviner will be the one to attend to everyone on the queue." Linky explained and she took the hands of the duo and headed inside the room where the Diviner is.
"Why are we going in? Didn't you said we need to be on a queue?" Merly Said.
"I need an answer quick!!" She shouted back.
She pushed through the humaliens that were on the way and entered the room.
The Diviner's back was turned to them. He was in a long black and white robe.
"I've been shown how the future will be from the past. And at this very moment, the first step into the future has just started. And now the second step is to tell you both what you are and what you need to do. Will you please close the door Linky?!" The Diviner said as he turned to face the twins. His face was covered by a special material created with a gem. So, his face wasn't visible to all.
"You, Greg and you, Merly! You are a rare element among all Humaliens." The Diviner said.
"How... how did you know our names." Greg was surprised that the alien knew their names.
"I knew you from birth. The Moon came in with a very cold weather. Whether you like it or not, you are destined to be in this world ever since you were born." The alien said and he sighed. "Let's get to the point, I can see that Linky is very anxious. Although you didn't show it, yet I knew."
"You know everything Master. I should have stayed and learned from you, but I loved fighting that's why." Linky said sadly.
"It's not your choice lady, it's the destinies choice. The destinies had seen the future and they had assigned you two assignments.
Later in the future, you must complete this assignment. Just make sure you visit me more often, so I'll teach you one or two things more." The Diviner replied.
"Now, to you Duos. I will give you a named just as the Destinies had instructed me. This name, goes on with your assigned duty. Just like Linky, her name has a meaning, which she will soon understand.
"Therefore, I'm giving you this name today."
"You!!" he said pointing at Greg. "You will be called Phord, meaning, the one that saves two worlds from the penetrator."
"And you!" turning to Merly. "You are Kilhord, an assistant to the Phord."
And the Diviner said no more. Soon after, they all left the room and out of the hall.
Linky stopped and looked at the Duos. She had a firm look on her face.
"It's time we go to the field to know your powers." She said.
On a very sandy field, where thousands of impure aliens were training with weapons of different types and some of them, with the parts of their body glowing in colours, their arms, or foots, or head or horn. Which was making Greg to be more excited to fight and so is Merly.
"I wish I could do that!" Greg wished he could do what he saw the aliens doing.
"And me too!!" Merly also replied.
"I've got to say this, but you are still at a no level phase. You have a long way to go if you want to be strong. And I will be tutoring you as your master."
"Now, climb!" Linky said pointing at a tall, large rock.
"What?" Merly and Greg asked.
"You want to be strong, don't you?" Linky asked and they nodded positively. "Then climb that rock, I must not outrun you." she said as she started climbing the rock.
Greg tried his best to climb the rock but Merly wasn't doing any better. Greg had to help her sister to climb and they both climb up the rock.
Linky stood and frowned.
"I will only give you today. As from tomorrow, you must climb the rock by yourselves." Linky said.
"Now, both of you, spread your wings." she ordered and they both tried to extract their hidden wings but they weren't able to do so.
"Try laughing!!" Linky advised.
"Laugh?, I can't laugh when nothing is funny." Merly answered.
Linky then brought out a bird's feather and tickled Merly's body. And she started laughing. Immediately, her wings sprouted out proudly. And everyone was amazed at the beauty of the wings.
Greg was anxious to know how his wings are, and so he asked Linky to make him laugh. He also laughed and his wings sprouted out. It was the same as Merly's wing.
"Flap your wings!!" Linky shouted as she pushed the twins and they fell down the rock. Every alien present at the field saw them.
And immediately, the wings of the twins started blazing fire. As they flap their wings, they flap wings of fire.
