Just like in the current times, dimension XXV was divided into four continents. The North continent was and is ruled by the ice dragon Ectis, West was the formal yeti queen Jane and the South by the snow hounds. While the East was left ungoverned, usually where settlements like big cities were constructed. The yeti race were the weakest race among the three rulers, seeing as they were mostly made of grade ones and two. However their queen, Jane Drat was a powerful woman who led their race to success.
As such, they had many followers and believers in their continent. One prominent group of believers were the people of the Flake village, who had members whom mostly excelled in water magic.
Raizel Flake, the leader of the Flake village, was an elegant man, he had snow white hair, white eyes and always wore a positive expression which could brighten any mood. His positivity always drove any event he organized to fruition.
An example of such an event was the annual Yeti festival known as "Yetai". It was meant to give thanks to the yetis for their protection.
And as usual, all villagers prepare for the event by gathering food, water, decorations and practicing culturally songs and dances. They all worked together and that was what truly brought life to the event.
"Raizel!" an elderly man called out.
"Old man Dru, what's wrong?" Raizel asked in worry. During events, nothing was worse than problems arising.
"You see my daughter here..." the old man paused as he pointed towards his daughter. "She forgot to take the Frost flower from the forest,".
Hearing this Raizel sighed in relief, he waved his hand to ensure that it was not a problem. He was worried that a bigger problem arose like aliens falling from the sky or nude girls running around for the fifth time, but luckily it was nothing much.
"If it's just that we could probably get it before the festivities begin,".
"Thank the heavens! My daughter will finish what she started," the elderly man gently shoved her as he spoke.
"Dad! I want to go!" a little girl who was dressed in white shouted as she ran into Raizel's arms.
Raizel did not hesitate for a second before opening his arms to carry his daughter. Just like him, his daughter had white hair and white eyes. If she was not a female, one would mistake her as a miniature Raizel. With a bright smile plastered on his face, he spun around along with his daughter in his arms. Laughs filled the air as the elderly man looked at them as though his presence was a disturbance.
"Dad! I wanna go, your intentionally drowning me in love so I would forget!" the little girl accused.
'Caught red handed, huh?' Raizel inwardly cursed as a bead of sweat formed in his face.
"You see! Your lying, when ever you lie a bead of sweat forms on your face," she said.
"Ooh? Tell me more," the elderly man inquired. Even he being a good friend of Raizel did not know of this fact.
"Yh, yh everytime he lies it happens. He even lied when I caught him and mommy shouting verses of a song on the bed. If I remember well.... he said something like, I will strike you with my migh-" her sentence was cut off by her father who moved almost at the speed of light to put his hand on her mouth.
At this point, sweat began to pour from every pore in his body despite the weather, while the old man his daughter were busy stifling their laughter. If they had known he was such a good musician then he would be the one singing for the festival.
"Let me go!" the girl persisted.
"Norm...I cannot let you go. Who knows what much gobble you up," Raizel continued to reject.
"Then I will tell everyone about the time you let mom descend you like a bird going to-" and once again Norm continued to spill the beans about her dad's deepest darkest secrets but was stopped by her dad.
"Fine! You can go, but be back in an hour whether you find the flower in an hour. Sarah can go with-"
"No! I will go myself," Norm insisted as she ran out of the village to pick the flower.
"You should not be so protective, Norm will become eleven year. She will be a grown up soon," another man intruded.
"No, it's rather as these moments she needs a dad more than ever,".
"What a wimp! How can she make a boyfriend with you acting like a demon guardian!" another village shouted.
Hearing his statement, his eyes twitched at the thought of a random guy abducting his daughter in the name of love. As the head of the village, he had high qualifications, Norm's future husband needed to be a billionaire with power similar to a god. These were the minimum requirements that would be needed to date his daughter and so far no one fits the bill.
"I am the only one she needs!" Raizel exclaimed.
"What a pedophile," a female villager who passed by commented.
"Raizel!" A villager called out while running to him.
"What's wrong?".
"A man!" the village boy panicked while he pointed to a teleport station.
"What about him?" Raizel asked.
"He is... he is killing people! As the teleport station!" the boy shouted which alarmed the whole village.
Raizel's eyes sunk as he heard this, why did a maniac have to arrive during the festival? Not only that but a slaughter? He was about to run to the teleport station but was soon proved that there was no need. The mysterious young man had walked out of the teleport station and approached them himself.
Oddly enough, the man wore all black which outcasted himself from the residents. Suddenly, he opened his arms sideways and announced, "Hello!".
"My name is Aiken! Rejoice! For this pathetic village has produced the second conduit candidate,".
"Who the fuck is he?" a villager shouted in anger as he ran to Aiken. It was not appreciated that he came to their village and began to spout out insults while also having murdered some of their people.
"Look his left eye!" a villager shouted.
'No way! A T-Tsujigen of force!' Raizel inwardly panicked.
Aiken then slowly continued to walk towards the village while wearing a sinister smile. He made sure everyone was within his view before whispering, "A conduit should be able to block this, right?".
