I stood up from my bed and went to the bathroom to shower ,I brushed my teeth first then had a cool bath in the tub I was done in the next thirty mins I took some aspirins for the headache and headed downstairs I was halfway downstairs when the aroma of the food being cooked in the kitchen reached my nostrils ,awwwn I moaned and rubbed my Tommy I got to the kitchen door and found Mom and aunt Mimi cooking I greeted my mom
"Good morning mom".
"Morning my angel "she replied and planted a kiss on my forehead
"How was your night" baby
"
Twas fine ma" I replied .
"Help me set the table, will you?
" Yes mom I'll go ahead"
I said and dashed off to the dining table I did what I had to do and headed for my room
On my way I met the man that
I dreaded most in my life I won't greet him I concluded in my heart but when I reached where he was I greeted without even thinking
" Good morning sir" I muttered
"I hope u are prepared for your new school I don't want to hear any complaints this time " he said instead of replying me .
"Ye s s sir" ,I stammered
I opened my door and went to the balcony to seat .I looked through the window but saw nothing interesting for Christ sake today is Saturday a weekend for that matter can't somebody rest again
I was still thinking
,"when
Small madam ya food don ready Oo "
aunt Mimi cut through my thoughts
OK ,I replied I'll get down in a second
I went down and sat on a chair adjacent to my dad and munched my meal with so much relish I finished just in time and went to the telephone I dialled Sasha's line and the phone buzzed at the other side
Me:hi plss can I speak with Sasha?
Sasha: Sasha on the line "beans".
Me: hey don't call me that .ok?
Sasha: why not huh beans ?
Me: bcos that's not my name
Sasha: OK beans.
Me: (rolling my eyes )u won't stop any way, so any plan for today ?
Sasha: yea come to the estate gate I'll wait for you there and tell you my plans for today OK ?beans
Me: OK I'll call you when am coming alright?
Sasha: OK see ya
And the line went off .
OK,OK if you are wondering who Sasha is ,she is my very good friend though she's older than me ,we live in the same estate and did most things together but she was already through with her secondary education ...
I went to meet her but called her before getting there I sighted her car at the estate entrance I doubled my footsteps and got into the car .
Me: so what's up girl
Sasha: nothing much just that we are going shopping but before then we'll have a swim then go to the cinema am so up excited.
Me: I don't see anything interesting or exciting about going to swim and shopping.
Sasha: common don't be a kill joy
Me: fyn I'll just go with u .
Sasha: good girl she smirked" and turned to her phone I did the same and soon we got to our destination . And hadddd fuuunnn
