It was Tuesday morning, I had just woken up after the whole nap from yesterday.
I got down from bed and slipped my feet in my slippers , I hurried into the bathroom brushed my teeth, took my bath and got ready for school, I didn't want to be late .
Rushing throw the stairs she cornered the wall dividing the dinning from the staircase and ate breakfast
Took few minutes to finish eating and shouted "I'm off to school mom"
Isn't it too early sweetheart"
" No mom ,I don't want to be late for assembly "she replied
Without waiting for her mom's reply she dashed off ,inwardly thanking God her father had left for work
She signalled the driver she was ready for school and soon the car was running through the gates down the estate
.......
Soon they were outside the estate, looking through the window she wasn't surprised to see the streets already filled with people "typical Lagos" she said .
The car was moving at a comfortable speed not too fast not too slow , just fast as in normal fast and she liked it
The thoughts of joining the school assembly for the day was on her mind ,she didn't want to be late for assembly .
Mins later ,the car pulled up in front of quinstone finally and she got down
Everybody except her was looking wonderful in their black and white uniform
She was expecting to get school wears before the end of today
Walking through the gates and trying to stay calm as she walked past some obvious curious eyes
"It's not the first time y'all seeing someone come to school in mufti right?"
She asked nobody in particular as her voice was not so loud when she said it
Thankfully she made her way to class not forgetting to congratulate herself for not getting lost this time
Got in the class ,walked straight to the chair from yesterday and dropped her backpack on it .
The class was quite empty
Seems she was pretty early
Thinking of what to do ,she decided to stroll around before the assembly bell would be rung
Deciding to use just the walkway so she doesn't get lost
She starts her lonely journey,her mind wondered far ,how everything has changed in just few days .if someone had told her she wouldn't finish her secondary school at her former school she wouldn't believe now it was like a movie to her
She wondered what Catherina must have told the principal that got her expelled even without hearing her part of the story
It's hurt though but she was half glad she left
At least she had been expelled early .She wouldn't want to give a bad impression .
Now thinking about it ,What people even say that she left her former school because of the upcoming WAEC ,if there was anything she didn't want.Tbat was people thinking she was a dumb student.
She suddenly became moody she missed them ,she shouldn't have slapped her
And speaking of which Olamide still hadn't called or even texted her
She was surprised.So much for having a best friend who didn't care
She sure was going to mind herself here besides it was just few months before that would write their WAEC and she'll be outta here
She had made up her mind from the very first day she got into senior secondary school not to school in Nigeria
"Gbam gbam gbam " the sound of the bell reached her ears , turning around she joined the students in the direction they flooded to guessing rightly that it might be the assembly ground
She looked towards the direction of the bell and saw a rather short ,plump girl hitting the bell with all her strength
It was funny to watch she chuckled and moved on

Everyone filed into the class , enthusiasm clear on their faces, Kendra and Christie walked in too and while Kendra stopped at her seat with a later" to Christie.
Chris walked forward stopped just at once
Her backpack was on the ground and a tall boy was sitting on the chair ,not giving a fuck about her presence the class was still rowdy not wanting to steer trouble she picked the bag tossed it on the chair and the boy glared at her
It's my chair" he simply said
Ooh " she cooed, is that why you probably put my bag on the floor"
Yes " That's why ,and do you have a problem with that "?
Can I just sit , please" like I don't have the strength for this "
No !" You can't
She didn't think she would experience this today
She got tired of standing and sat down
I told you,you can't sit here"
And why is that" she finally decided to give him what he wanted
Because it's my chair " he simply said unfazed
" Well Mr . Chair owner I'd like you to meet Christie ,your new seatmate ,I'm very sure you didn't bring this chair from home while coming so stop claiming ownership",if it was yours before it's ours now ".
She concluded and got more comfortable on the chair
Surprisedly the guy didn't answer her again,he just gazed at her

This girl bumping into me on the assembly ground without even bothering to turn back let alone say sorry wasn't enough.
I didn't take my eyes off her in the assembly ground till Sammy jabbed me and we gave each other a knowing smile
Quinstone finally admitted a real beauty
She was pretty I won't deny that but we'll I don't know proud
Now she had the guts to come drag my seat with me
For real ,I have been sitting alone almost like forever even my friends wanted to sit with me at times ,I declined I just liked having my own space
This bitch was getting on my nerves
And did she just say "ours"
Like she just claimed ownership to my chair
I wasn't even sorry for leaving her bag on the ground
If I had known she was the owner earlier her books would probably be scattered everywhere now
Well ,I'll just let her be I'm not ready for a fight cause she looked really annoyed .

Someone entered the class and announced that the principal wanted to see I and Christie in her office
I saw this coming,she's going to question me on why I haven't been in school for the past week

I got down from the car and went to mom's room ,she wasn't back
I headed to my room and took off my clothes dashed in the bathroom and had a cool bath
It was a good and bad day after all,good considering the fact that I got my school wears at the principal's office before I got home and bad for the fact that I had a proud , arrogant good looking ,dark and I don't give a fuck seat mate .
Can't wait to try my uni's on ,I started testing them and they all looked good on me ,but the Wednesday wear kinda became short stopping just above my knees
My ass just would never stop making long things short on me
I was hungry
I went to the dinning and found something to eat.
