Chapter 43 - Men are stupid

She has to meet the witch another time. She could get her answers from her.

Truths are hidden for enough time… it means… its time to uncover and let people taste the medicine for their deeds. And nature will help her. So… Lenora will not leave any single thing unturned. And now Ophelia in the picture many questions were raised in her brain.

There must be something more to the incident that happened. For that, she has to see through her memories. But can she see through her?

She's a witch and vampire. Bi-bred.

This got her a difficult job.

And the words spoken by the witch look like they could be understood easily, but every line she spoke has a deeper meaning. She has to first decode that. Only then… she can take the next step carefully.

Her life started again after two years, she can see hope again after a long while. She felt happy, genuinely happy for the first time.

Lenora knew happiness never lasts long. She sighed deeply. Forget it… she will just accept everything.

Her thoughts came to a halt when she heard the witch's magnetic voice again.

"I guess it's time for you to leave," Elphaba said.

"Lady Elphaba, won't you talk with grooms?" Eudora asked with confusion.

If she spoke with brides then she shall talk with men too, right?

Even Lenora was surprised when she heard her words. She spoke with both brides but not grooms. Was there no tradition of talking with grooms? Well, the Werewolf traditions were different from theirs. She's a nobody to question their traditions. The Queen Mother just pointed them out.

Will it cause trouble?

"Men are stupid people. They are not as smart as women. They won't understand the things I say," Elphaba said.

At some point, even Lenora understood her words. Men are easily driven by anger and jealousy feelings.

They would ignore the truth and abuse the victim.

She learned this thing a hard. How she wished she could defend her brother right now. But she didn't or couldn't. Because she knew she was right. Her brother was driven by emotions and abused her for two years emotionally. How could she forget it?

And her fiance…. She could say he was different and kind yet she isn't sure if he was kind or not.

The Vampire elders were nothing but suckers they always get under the skin of people and torture them. They believe what they want to believe but not the truth.

Uff… this situation was fucked up now.

She could see her fiancee's face. Looks like he wanted to say something yet he controlled his tongue to keep it to himself. There's someone who could control his emotions instead of snapping out. This's interesting. And for this exact reason, she liked her fiancee further.

"You won't know without telling us," Zaros said suddenly.

This was what Lenora was trying to convey. Her bother was driven by emotions and won't think straight when someone offends him. And here he was, proving her right. Sigh…

Lenora would just let the witch teach him.

Author's Notes:

Between I don't have any grudges with the gender male. I purely used this for the sake of the story. The witch has something in her past that made her believe men are stupid. Everything will change as the story goes on. Don't be angry with me.
