Nicholas seemed to be sitting next to Grace, then he looked at Grace with a serious expression on his face, something that made Nicholas himself a bit awkward too. How could he not, he had felt neglected by Grace many times, and for the umpteenth time he tried, again and again, to approach Grace so that his lover would forgive him, talk to him from the heart to heart in a way that they loved each other very much, even it felt like Nicholas wanted to say everything, tell stories or even worship Grace to get her lover to talk.
"How are you, honey? Are you all right now?" asked Nicholas then.
Grace, who seemed to be still prestige, looked away, but she nodded weakly.
"Fine," she replied.
