(???): "Dad why doesn't magic exist."
I was working when this little girl came up to me and tapped my thigh.
Making me aware of her presence.
When she asked that question, I was wondering how easy life would be with that.
(Josiah): "Because mary. Laws of physics still apply."
She put the arms down in an exaggerated manner.
(Mary): "Ugh physics ruin's everything."
(Josiah): "Oh don't say that. oh, come on look at this."
I grabbed her body, then put her on my thigh.
There was a magnet that I had on the end of my bench. I took two.
I put the north side and the south side together then let go of my grip.

(Mary): "Woah. How did that happen?."
(Josiah): "This is what you call a magnet. When you put it together it sticks and it is hard to take off because they are best friends. But if you use the same side."
Flipping the side I tried to put it together but was only met with resistance.
(Josiah): "They don't want to be together. They dislike each other."
Her eyes widen and she wanted to try it out.
I gave her the magnets watching her click them together and tried to get the same sides to attach, but failed.
(Josiah): "Hey want to see something cool. It's called electricity.
Her mouth opened wide from hearing that something might be better than what she had just witnessed. With a slight nod, we spent the rest of her afternoon seeing why science is so great.

(Algid): "Ok Josiah pick up Pharaoh and let's go."
I looked at her, dead-eyed then at Pharaoh.
(Josiah): "You expect me to carry this thing."
Sarria took a gasp.
(Sarria): "Wow That's just rude. I'm... I'm flabbergasted so just because she looks different from you, you have to discriminate?."
I took a step back. Trying to comprehend what she is saying. She was making me seem like the bad guy. As if that thing was a normal being.
(Josiah): "Woah Woah, You can't blame me. I mean like, like Max h-."
(Max): "Hold up don't put me in this man."
He took a step back, trying to separate himself from me.
Now everyone started to look at me as if I'm the bad guy. Ugh, what did I do to deserve this? But I have to look like the bigger person like the adult I am.
(Josiah): "Mom! Please..."
Algid looked at me, shaking her head. Soon giving in.
Good because I wasn't going to carry the hideous figure, adult, or not.
Pride?.
What is that, is it tasty?.
Algid picked up Pharaoh in her human form. Her body looked so gross, and her skin was blue. what Nebo did by Dropping the surrounding oxygen levels, seems advanced and scary.
Note to self: do not make an enemy of Nebo.
We were walking, talking about how things have been going on in our lives.
Pharaoh started to wake up. She noticed she was in the grasp of Algid's arms. She tried to get out of Algid's grasp.
(Pharaoh): "Argh"
(Albid): "Welcome back."
Pharaoh's facial features were hard to notice, but her mouths and muscles were flexing. Her face, or lack thereof, was starting to have veins pop out.
(Josiah): "Just be happy your alive."
Pharaoh took a second to understand what had just happened. Then she crooked her head to Sarria.
(Pharaoh): "You!."
Sarria looked down, unsure of what to say. Nebo lifted her nonexistent chest. Proudly boasted.
(Nebo): "Just be happy that I didn't plan on killing you."
(Sarrs): "Yeah and besides you started it first and went too far with it."
(Pharaoh): "You lost."
Sarrs looked like he was going to be burst. He stopped in his tracks, yelling.
(Sarrs): "You cheated, if you hadn't used underhanded tricks I would have won."
(Sarrs): "Yeah big bro wouldn't lose to any of us."
(Max): "Even so underhanded tactics are just part of the battle. You have to do whatever you can to win."
(Josiah): "Why did you even do that anyway?."
(Pharaoh): "To improve my studies in magic."
(Josiah): "That it.? no deep words or meaning just that you want to improve."
(Max): "Yeah I agree with Josiah. You went out of your way to harm us just to improve yourself."
(Pharaoh): "Ah my bad."
She was pissing me off for her lack of remorse.
(Josiah): "Max."
Max nodded, we ran at her to try and give her the classic beatdown.
(Algid): "Ok enough."
The area turned frigid in a second. My body was giving me warning signs that if I went any closer I would die.
I took a few steps back. But I still felt my skin having goosebumps.
(Algid): "Look she was just playing a prank on you all."
(Sarrs): "That is one hell of a prank."
(Pharaoh): "You lost."
(Sarrs): "You!."
She chuckles a little bit, then whispers to Algid. Algid smiled back while putting her down.
Most of us got our guard up. Honestly, she is a hassle to deal with.
(Pharaoh): "I'm sorry and I realized that my actions have caused you guys to trust me less and I wouldn't want that. I will try and do it in a way that doesn't ruin our moods."
We were shaken.
I mean, she formed a full sentence of an actual apology.
I know nobody expected that. I don't fully forgive her, but in the end, nobody was hurt.
Sarrs scoffed, Max scratched his head.
when I mean nobody got hurt I meant all but Sarr's pride, that is.
(Sarria): "Nebo I think you should say sorry too."
Sarria looked at Nebo. Nebo opened her mouth a little bit. She didn't want to say anything.
(Nebo): "Eh but we were in danger."
(Sarria): "But you also went a little too far."
I don't see much of a problem, though suffocating someone is quite brutal.
Nebo went on Sarria's shoulder, then sighed.
(Nebo): "I'm sorry I lost my temper."
Pharaoh nodded. I'm glad that we could put our differences aside.
as we were walking to the end of the forest, where, if I remember, the border between the nations of elves and humans was covered by animals in the very middle.

(Josiah): "Where are we going."
(Algid): "Hehehe I'm so glad that somebody finally asked."
Our attention turned on her, then we noticed someone appearing right next to her.
(???): "To think I got sensed like nothing. you guys are truly her children. Welcome my name is Azula."
A human woman who was light-skinned, her pupils were bigger than what I had seen in my past life. Her hair was brown. She was wearing comfortable clothes with the logo of an animal on them. But also a mini cape that was on her side. It was blue.
How random.
(Algid): "This is one of my people who is going to help you out it seems like all of you want to go different places. Sarrs and Josiah to the human nation, Max to the oni, Pharaoh going on a travel, Sarria to the elves. Some of them are far away, so we are to have to use a plane."
A plane, I wonder how it is. I hope it looks cool.
(Azula): "Yep and we made plans for you to get there so please follow me.
We kept on walking. It was still early in the morning.
We have reached the end of the forest and reached a road. The road was silver in color and had a protective barrier.
Honestly, not what I imagined. I was expecting it to be scarier.
On the side of the road was a long car that was black and it was floating.
(Azula): "Please go in."
As she says that the door opens by itself. Our eyes opened wide.
This type of technology, if brought to my world, would have been revolutionary. and even that is an understatement.
We walked slowly in awe. The windows were not see-through. The floating car was steady in place.
When we got near it its car started to produce steps like a stair but floating. When I stood on it it went down a little bit but went back in place.
The interior was cream in color and if you looked up you could see something that resembles a black hole with a quasar rotating around it.
(Algid): "Like the design? I picked it myself."
I nodded my head slowly.
There were 3 rows of seats, the main, 2 the fronts, and there was a middle three seats on that side and 2 at the back. It started to shift. I took the middle part. And as the rest took their seats, Pharaoh sat next to me. And Sarrs sat next to her in the back row Sarria and Max sat there.

The door closed while alerting you. by beeping
Suddenly, seatbelts sprung upon us, locking themselves. The seat was so comfortable, and the fabric was something I never experienced before.
A bunch of screens hovered our way.
"Please select the language."
It kept on repeating the words in other languages, most of which I couldn't even begin to understand.
Max was the first person to play around with. It looked so cool. But I had a concern.
(Josiah): "How is the car floating?."
Algid got on the passenger side and Azula got on the driver's side, setting up everything and looking at a bunch of numbers.
(Algid): "By using the magnetic fields it's able to stand. and we have around 4 sometimes 8 of those things. If we wanted to move it would just rotate on the side giving itself a push."
I'm guessing it's an electric car of some sort.
(Sarria): "Amazing I've never seen something so mindblowing in my life."
(Algid): "Well you were just born."
Yeah, I keep forgetting that even tho we have been on this planet for 20 years, it means nothing to us.
(Sarrs) Where are we going?."
(Albid): "We are going to the city named after the god of lighting Zeus."
(Josiah): "So humans believe in the greek gods?."
(Algid): "just a few. it is just that there are supernatural beings like that. that come here sometimes and some people would worship them but more people want to become powerful without depending on outside beings. so they don't follow these gods."
(Azula): "A long time ago when the city was established that was when the name was put there although times have changed nobody saw it necessary to change the name."
As she said that, Azula finished her check-up and the car gently lit on.
"welcome back Algid the coldbearer."
A sweet voice rang out. You wouldn't believe that it was Artificial intelligence. It sounded so real it was scary.
(Algid): "Yeah it's been a while floral. Any updates.?
"The school that you wanted to enroll those two in. They have agreed. The price was 40,189 crystals."
(Algid): "Why are the prices so high. And also set the location to Hermes airport. but in between locations look for hotels.
"Starting...."
"Energy levels are 88%"
The whole car seemed like it wasn't moving if I didn't have my power, <<
The wheel went inside the board. It didn't even need a driver.
I turned my focus to the flying screen.
There was a headset that looked blood red and a streak of black.
The screen icon was notifying me to put it on.
"The price is high because of other expenses such as dorms, equipment, Advance courses, prot-"
I put on a pair of a headset, my surroundings drowned out, and it started to boot up. It felt like my body was another world
Although I had a limited understanding of the language, I still somehow knew where I wanted to go.
It felt like my body was swiping on all the things to do, games. books. news. Something called silk.
I finally landed on the movie section.
I went on the browser. when I stopped on a movie
(Josiah): "Woah what is that it looks so cool."
The picture was a scary monster holding a weird animal trying to protect her against a storm.
I clicked on it and when the logo started, I felt like I was going at light speed while stopping.
My whole world changed. I was in a different setting.
I walked so confusedly until I saw the monster, but as a little child, I was starting to understand what was happening.
I walked with the people of this world watching what was happening and the settings changing.
The movie itself was alright. The fight scenes were great like how he fights the whole kingdom to save her. And then he blew up the building of the Senate. It was filled with action. I felt like I was there.
At times I ran away like a civilian because I forgot I was in an imaginary world.
The movie could be summarized like this: A male oni fell in love with a Serp. And how, even tho many barriers had occurred, such as language and overall species incompatibility.
the Serp had four legs and 4 webbed fingers. With multiple snake-like things on its head, it looks unassuming at first. But when it notices any small insects flying its way, it starts to transform it catches any unassuming insects for it to feed on.
That was to a point when the "loving" started. He was kissing his whole body. She got so excited that her hair started shaking, then she stuck her tongue out, then put it in his mouth. His eyes rolled back.
And since I was there it was worrying that my pupils shrunk at the horror I was witnessing.
The movie was all types of weird, so when the credits rolled I just took off my headset and took a deep breath.
(Josiah): "Thank god that horror was over with."
I took a deep breath, then looked around Sarrs was sleeping. Max was playing a game.

Sarria was watching a movie the same way as Nebo. They were dead still.
Pharaoh Who was next to me was browsing.
(Josiah): "What are you doing?."
Pharaoh looked up. For the first time, I saw something that reasonable... eyes. Although I was like, she just put it there without thought. I can't say if it was grosser with eyes or not.
(Pharaoh): " I don't know if they called it the silk. I can search up anything and it is there it's amazing."

I looked at my surroundings. It was silent. Algid was on her headset, too, and Azula, who was meant to be a driver, was on it, too. The car was driving by itself. It was going so fast and fluidly.
The highways were shifting and moving as cars went, making traffic rare.
I looked at the door side and there was an icon that had a glass symbol on it. I tap it.
It turned on and I could see the outside but since it was like was looking through a screen I couldn't see the air but instead, I saw a car moving but you could see their window though.
So this car is probably specialized for safety.
We were in the city that quick. I don't know how long I spent on the movie.
The humans were light-skinned. They had different hair traits and eyes.
But their pupils were bigger than humans in my world.
I looked up and the was a train going so fast that if I was human I'm sure it would have been a blur.
I wanted to practice my Skill more.
I turned off the screen and closed my eyes, trying to control the atoms.
It turned early afternoon.
(Algid): "Ok everyone gets down."
Everyone took off their headsets. The doors opened all at once, and the steps floated down. when we stepped on the last one, it floated to the ground and went back up.
We walked to the hotel.
The hotel had a weird style to it like the lights were moving around. And the patterns were swirly with some zig-zag. But it was pretty, and it was also big with a few cars parked in front.
(Azula): "I see that they are trying something new."
"Welcome to the Tranquillitas hotel. I hope you enjoy your stay."
A sweet lady in a black suit, but she also had like a half mini cape. It was gray, sometimes glowing. Her eyes were brown.
The cape is a fashion of a sort.
"Follow me please."
As she said we all walked with her to the front reception.
The floor looked like wood, but it was not wood. There were leaves on the sides of the area. And in the middle of the room was a stable that was floating. But the computer that was on top of the computer was confusing. It was like a touch screen, a hologram if you will, but you could see the screen.
The woman in a suit quickly moved to the side in silence.
A man who was around 5'6. His muscle fit perfectly into his suit, his half mini cap fluttering in the air.
"Welcome esteemed guest and the one and only Algid."
(Algid): "You saw my request have you made it to my liking?."
"Of course I'm so glad that you chose us."
The man smiled. His long mustache moving as he moves.
Wow, everyone is handsome here. Thankfully, I could change my form. I don't know if I could compete in my first body.
Algid had an impassive face. The burly man whistled.
Some people were moving around, their eyes were cold. They walked in coordination.
They came to us. One for each of us.
"Welcome please put your eye on this sensor."
I looked around unsure of what to do. Algid nodded. pushing us to go for it.
I took the chance and put my eye near the sensor. The others did the same.
"Good all done now please speak."
(Josiah): "Hello."
(sarrs): "Yo."
(Pharaoh): "Hello."
(Max): "This looks cool."
(Sarria): "It is."
"All set. You guys can pick your rooms, but after that, you won't be able to pick again."
The thing that we had to say too suddenly spoke back.
The strange humans showed us where the rooms were as we were walking, and we began talking.
(Sarria): "Well that was interesting."
(Sarrs): "It was I always imagined how the outside world is now that I saw a glimpse of it I'm excited."
(Algid): "Talking about that. I have prepared some clothes for you and a piece of technology in your room.
Oh like the mini cape side thing. I suppose that's like a type of fashion here.
And a piece of technology.? I will look out for it.
We all went to our rooms as we walked the was a well.
Then suddenly the wall opened up, turning itself into 6 rooms.
The technology here is so high that I would sometimes consider it magic in its own right.
(Algid): "Just say anything as you place your eye near the sensor to let you in."
(Josiah): " Hello."
"Welcome. we hope you enjoy your stay."
It opened up as I got in the place lit up. I looked back when I noticed that the door was already closed behind me.
I felt something come closer to me. I jerked my head to the other side.
It was floating ...
while carrying some drinks. I grabbed one, then stared at this machine.
Its only job was to carry drinks. I kept on touching it, every time I pushed it came back to its original position.
(Josiah): "Incredible."
I stared at this being while taking a sip.
(Josiah): "Woah what is in this stuff."
My tastebuds were dancing. I never drank something so good before.
It was sour with a taste of a better-tasting pineapple like it tasted similar, but I could recognize it tasted different.
I couldn't focus on the machine. I had to savor the taste of this drink.
A minute later and I felt like I had gone to heaven and back.
(Josiah): "I wouldn't even mind if I died right now."
Well, I want more, but I have to try the other stuff out.
I saw in a mirror that it was long. I walked to it.
It then started showing visuals such as me, the weather, and how many clothes I have available.
"There are set clothes available for you would you like to see?."
(Josiah): "Sure."
The clothes started to materialize and harden The color scheme was white, with some parts as black. But this time with a cape.
"This clothing line has heat absorption. Fire-resistant, regeneration, stretch, cold-resistant, electricity resistant, and shock-resistant. and it even comes with gloves. Would you like to equip?."

Why are there that many effects?
(Josiah): "Um sure go ahead..."
The clothes started to soften and the clothes I'm wearing right now got out of me as the new ones started to wrap themselves around me.
I felt like I was in my bed. The amount of comfort made me just want to sleep right then and there, but it was still afternoon.
And this was just the living room I wanted to explore my bedroom.
When I walked my clothes felt like a part of me. As if I was naked.
I had to look at myself multiple times to see if I was still wearing clothes.
I reached the door. It was black. It started to break apart.
Soft music played in the background. My bed floating. The floor felt like walking outside on the grass.
I went to the left side of the bed and got on it. The pillow was so soft and the bed was warm, I almost fell asleep.
"A few people are at your door would you like to visualize?."
Huh, what was that noise ...
I opened my eyes a little bit and a holographic globe was on top of me.
My heart sank.
"A few people are at your door would you like to visualize?."
It asked that question again. I don't know what it means to visualize.
But if I said I was not curious, I was lying.
(Josiah): "Yes."
The globe turned into a square as if showing four familiar people.
(Sarria): "We are going out. Want to come with?."
Amazing, I don't know how it works, but I did want to see the outside.
(Josiah): "Um I don't know if you can hear me but yeah."
(Sarrs): "Great meet us downstairs."
At that moment the square hologram turned into a globe again.
(Josiah): "Well I guess it's time for me to get up."
When I got up I looked down and saw a watch.
When I tried it on it started to beep, then showed a bunch of visual information. It was like a hologram, but for my wrist.
(Josiah): "Um what?."
