"You are right… Alright, I will buy this new battery. It only costs one shop point." Eve looked at the item and read its description.
[Part # 1289384, Ion Battery, idle life expectancy: two years. ]

After checking it, she hit the buy button.

[Ion Battery Equipped]
As soon as Eve heard that message, she felt a surge of power well up through her body. She quickly looked at her diagnostics screen. "Oh, it worked!"

"But where did the old battery go?" Eve looked around until she saw a tab in the shop window named inventory. She clicked the tab to see that her old battery was sitting in a list on the screen. It was just called a battery. "Well, it's good to know there is a spot for these items, but it seems after going through these items, only a few are auto equipped."
"It does seem that way. The head and battery are all that you have found so far." Aiu had been paying attention to all the items in the list but only certain things allowed for auto equip.
"That's fine. If everything was auto-equipped, I wouldn't like it. However, chest frames are not auto-equipped, which is a shame. But that's fine. I plan to do most of the work myself anyway. But I will need to make a few tools, or else I won't be doing much. Anyway, Aiu, what we lack is combat ability. I was lucky just now, but what if we get into a firefight? I have no idea how to even use this weapon, and I have no idea how to even fight with my fists. If I were to be met with something that is able to fight on par with an A.I. like me, I would be totally screwed." Eve was not one to want to fight, but if she had to, she would do what she needed to do. But it was a known fact that she had no idea how to fight to begin with. Luckily this was not something she had to worry about.
"How much are the manuals? I saw them earlier as you skimmed by but missed the prices." Aiu asked.
"One shop point for the basics. I think that should be fine, though, for now. Intermediate alone costs ten shop points. So I wouldn't be able to get it anyway." Eve added both a melee and ranged basic combat manuals into her cart before buying them.
[Shop Points]: 4 → 2
Instantly Eve's mind was filled with new information. She stood up and threw a few punches and kicks before nodding her head in satisfaction. "This shop thing is not bad! Being able to pump my memory with information like this is nice. Alright, since I have some basic knowledge of how to fight, let's try to figure out how to get to this city. But before that… Wireless module, wireless receiver module…. Here we go! Oh! Two for one! One shop point. Two get!"
[Shop Points]: 2 → 0
"Eve, are you sure you should be wasting points on such things?" Aiu felt that Eve shouldn't waste all her points so easily since it did not seem like they would come easily.
"For now, yes. This wireless module and wireless receiver module will be the key to me fixing my body. I will be hooking them up to my eyes. I can then place my eye down someplace and not have to worry about the wires getting in the way or me not having a free hand. I can even stick it inside my chest while I work on sensitive areas for a close up view. It will be very handy. Plus, I have a few eyes on me now that I can hook up and see what does what." Eve did not just buy these modules on a whim, she had plans for them, and they were much needed for her to better her body.
"Alright, I won't say anymore." Aiu had to admit Eve's idea was pretty good. But the more she thought about it, it did make sense for Eve to think like this since she was a genius in her field.
"Sadly, I can not use them just yet, but if I can find the right materials, then maybe I can make a makeshift soldering iron, but then I would need some tin or other metal that will melt easily..." Eve decided to keep an eye out for materials. She figured with the battery she had in her inventory, she could use that to power the soldering iron. "Wait… Can this inventory hold items as well? I mean, I know it sounds crazy, but if the system is able to auto equip my battery and store the old part into my inventory, couldn't I just add my own stuff to it as well?"
Eve did not wait for Aiu to answer as she undid her armor suit and pulled the metal basket she had strapped to her back off. She then took out one of the eyes and pushed it into the screen, and like any holographic screen, it went right through it… "Err… Can I really not do it!?"
"Eve, there is a help icon on the upper right-hand side. Maybe it has instructions on use." Aiu was a bit more observant of the menu screens, and she had noticed long ago that a help screen was there. But she knew Eve was one of those people who threw the manual out and did things on her own.
"Ahh, you're right! Let's see. To take an item out, I just have to say retrieve and the name of the item, and to put items in, I have to say store and then the name of the item. This is all well and good, but how do I know the full name of the item? None of my items are marked!"
