We left my old home behind. I was sad to see it go, but I guess it's better this way. My guards drive us around town like we are celebrities. I do have to admit, it was quite fun. The stopped by a few thrift stores. I got a few hand me downs for winter. Thermals, winter jackets, snow boots, and sweats. We then stopped by the GAP and I grabbed a few pairs of jeans. I tried not to go to crazy because I'd hate my parents to become broke. "It's too expensive" I tell my mom. "Honey, we're not spending our money, we're spending yours" My mom said. "Since when do I have money?" Dahila asked. "You inherited your parents entire fortune" My dad said. "Please buy the things you need" my mother said reassuring. "I already got I wanted, Oh! except for a new pair of athletics" Dahlia says. "This way my lady" my dad gestures to the local shoe store, with a bow. God, he's too much, but I love him. We find the perfect pair. All black Underarmor shoes. Perfect and lightweight, I've always wanted these. "Why don't we go grab lunch?" Dahila says. "Apparently, it's my treat" She says giggling. Jackson drives us to a small mom and pop place. "I've never been here, this is so cool" Dahlia states. "Come on everyone, let's go grab a bite" Dahlia beams. "That means you too!" Dahlia says pointing to Jackson and Timmothy. "As you wish" they say. We get a pretty close spot to the front door. For a small eatery it's pretty busy. The smells coming out i
of this place are amazing. We walk in and it's loud, waiters and waitresses are all over the place. This place seems so vibrant. However, when we walked in some stopped for a brief second along with the customers to look at us. Has this town always been this strange? "Wha was that?" I asked my dad. "Most likely they sensed what we are" My dad replied. "It's okay though, wereloves are common is Dravenwood" my mom said "Oh okay" Dahlia replies. The hostess greets us with a bow and tells us to follow her. "What the hell?" Dahlia asked. "She must sense our power Dahila, it's a sign of respect by lower wolves" my mom chimed in. "I may never get used to this" Dahlis states. We reach the booth the hostess brings us to. "Your sever will be right with you" States the hostess with a smile. Oh wow this menu looks delicious! There's so many choices. "I know what I'm getting, short stacks, fired potatoes, fried ham, with fruit and orange juice" Dahlia states. "You must be so hungry, skipping breakfast" my mom giggled. We sat there patiently waiting for our server. We were just talking back and forth having a good laugh about everything. Our server finally arrived. "Daahhllia, is that you?" the server said. "Oh Caroline, I didn't know you worked here" Dahlia stated. "Don't go starting trouble for me Dahila!" Caroline spat. At this point the whole restaurant is staring our direction. "We didn't do anything, we can have a different server, if our presence makes you upset" my dad glared at her. "Is there a problem here Caroline" An unfamiliar voice stated. "Oh, no, sorry Mr. Hardy" Caroline stated. "Seems to me there is, are you refusing to serve these fine customers" Mr. Hardy stated. "No, no, I just let my emotions get the better of me" Caroline stated. "Go home Caroline, I take care of this table" Mr. Hardy stated. "But sir I...." Caroline didn't get to finish as Mr. Hardy dismissed her. Caroline went yelling and stomping in the back and we watched her exit the building. "We're sorry, we didn't mean to cause any trouble" Said my father. "Don't be sorry we have been getting a lot of complaints on her lately, I'm best friends with her parents and they wanted to teach her a lesson, so I've employed her, but sometimes I'm afraid I'll go out of business" Mr. Hardy chuckled running his hand through his hair. We gave our order and to our surprise it only took about 45 minutes. With how busy they were and all the food we ordered, I was impressed. Mr. Hardy came by frequently and chatted for a bit. If you ask me, he was a bit too friendly, but being a business owner I suppose it comes with the job. We spent nearly 2 hours in the restaurant, it was a really cool spot and I couldn't believe we'd never gone before. We thank Mr. Hardy and paid our bill. I signed for the check and took it to Mr. Hardy. "Don't be too hard on Caroline, we had some problems growing up in school. I think she was just suprised to see me again. Our last day of senior year, didn't go so great. Please make sure she gets this" Dahila stated. I hope Caroline learns something, from working here. I left her a $50.00 dollar tip, if she's working to earn her money, I can at least compensate her for getting her sent home early. "Thank you, Ms. Ravenwood" Mr. Hardy said. My parents and my entourage left the place in high spirits. It was a good day even with the Caroline hiccup. I think she's just misunderstood. I learned recently that we all could be going through astronomical changes behind closed doors. "Let's go back home, to Ravenwood" Dahlia states.
