Chapter 18 - Day at the beach

Running down the edge of the shoreline the howling gets louder and louder. I have to remember that as a wolf who has abilities to walk on earth and the ancestral plains, my power are an only me exclusive. It gets on my nerves how I can't share the experience with anyone else: or maybe I can? Figuring this out is all too much at times. When it comes down to it, no one's ever seen a wolf like me. I can feel that I'm getting tired and start to slow down. Good thing my escorts have to catch up. "It's good to see your much healthier" Lockhart announced winded. "Looks like I'm not the only one who needs to get into shape" I say sticking my tongue out at Lockhart. "What's with you?" he asks. " I thought I heard howling again, but I don't see any wolves" Dahlia expressed. "Oh I see, maybe a case of; Déjà Vu?" he said unsure. I shrug my shoulders nonchalantly "Maybe you're right" Dahlia expressed. I cease the chit chat and began to run again. "Wait for us" Lockhart yells. I know my intuitive nature is spot on. I continue to run full speed where the direction of the howling is coming from. I know the howling is trying to tell me something. "Dahila!" nearly thrown off balance I realize it's Raven Star. "Never shut me out agian!" She growls. "I'm really sorry Raven Star, I thought I was going crazy and just wanted to be alone". "When you loose connections to your Spirit wolves it leaves you vulnerable" Raven Star replied still angry. "I'm sorry, I feel much better, getting out of the mansion" Dahila relied. "Dahila, follow your intuition, it's always a guiding force" said my spirit wolf. "We have 7 days left and then the transformation begins" Raven Star remined me. "I know and I'm scared as hell, what if everyone's afraid of me and I can't control it" I whimpered. "You feel out of control because your body is getting ready. The closer you get to the transformation, your powers will try to break through. Only a successful shift, will you regain control. Be patient my dear Luna, for it is time to embrace and not run away" My wolf reassured me. Raven Star let's me continue my freedom rampage uninterrupted. I continue full speed ahead running to the howling. "How far do I have to go" I say to myself. I'm coming to the threshold between sand and the ancient tree wall. By now, we are nearly across the other side of the Island. Just then I get to the end of the forest, just to see another shoreline. This feels so familiar. I realize that this, is where we were suppose to dock. I can see the tiny port, empty like a ghost town. At the end of the dock, I see two wolves standing there looking out to the sea. I look in the direction they are viewing and I see a faint ship off in the distance. My entourage has finally arrived and I alert them to the discovery. "Maybe it's your parents?" Lockhart says. "That may be the case but why do I have this terrible feeling?" I replied. "That is a good question Dahila, I will send extra solders to safe guard the Island and keep a watch in tye ship" Lockhart expressed. "Jackson, Timmothy, go grab the rest of the squad for safe guard the Island. Do not worry about the Luna, I will guard her until we find out if this is a threat or not" Lockhart commanded. With a bow, Robot one and two quickly transform into their wolves. I stand in amazement. Two identical giant grey wolves take off running into the trees to head for home. "They're so majestic" I let slip. Lockhart chuckles at me. Lockhart decides it's no longer safe for me. He transforms in front of me; a giant chocolate wolf stands before me. He gestures to hop on. In amazement I comply, and we go rushing into the safety of the trees. He is so fast. The pace is so fast it's hard to breath. He runs me straight into the house and into my suite. I ask him to stay. "Lockhart, can't you stay with me?" I asked scared. He shakes his giant wolf head NO and leaves my residence. I rush to the Bay window, and I see his wolf run back to where we left. "Be careful" I say starting out of my prison.
