I sprint from the gym. If on autopilot I navigate the hallways and corridors with ease. I don't know why but I feel I must hurry. "Dahila, we must hurry" Raven Star replied. As if to validate my intuition, I pick up the pace. I reach the giant Brass Doors of Ravenwood and fling the doors wide open. Lockhart is right behind me. What we see outside is chaos. You hear the soldiers yelling "Find Lockhart!" "Whats going on" Lockhart yells. "Doctor, the ship was caught in the storm and it has wrecked. We haven't seen any of the surviving passengers yet, as nothing has washed ashore". A unfamiliar solider sounded off. This is the first time I've seen any other wolves besides Lockhart and my entourage. As I'm standing listening to the solider report in, I see my familiar pair of wolves. "You must save them, Dahila" The wolves urged me. "Save who?" I didn't realize I said it out loud. "What did you say" Lockhart asked. I didn't answer him as I was focused on the cryptic message. "Mom and Dad!" I yelled. There was no time to waste. Screw Lockhart and the soilders. Lockhart tried to say something but I ran as fast as I could towards the place I last saw the ship on the horizon. This time my wolf familiars are following me in suit as I race to see , what they're trying to tell me. "Please be okay" I say. "Dahila, be strong" Raven Star sounds off. I'm running as fast as I can. I didn't realize my sudden take off caught the eye of the entire squadron outside, as they all struggled to keep up with me. I run right through the forest barricades. I reach where I saw the ship earlier in the day. At first, I don't see anything. The waves look as if they were sent by Poseidon himself, clearing his oceans of all the unwanted. I still scan the ocean. "Save them" my wolf familiars say. "I don't see anyone, yet" I said back. Just then, you can hear the panic and fear from somewhere on the ocean. "Heelllp! Helllp us" The voice says. Wait I know that voice...."Mom!" I yell. Without hesitation, I run to the edge of the dock and dive in. "Come back Dahila!" Lockhart yells from the shore. Ignore his request and yell back "It's mom and dad!". Realizing what I said Lockhart commands the soilders to help me. "We must help her!" He yelled. Lockhart was the first one to jump in after me. "Hold on!" I yell. "Dahlia, honey is that you!" my mom yells. "Keep talking so I can find you" I yell back. "Over here, Dahila!". I travel in the direction of my mother's voice. You can hear the others plead for help. "Our ship wrecked Dahlia, we're so sorry we wanted to surprise you!" My mother cries. "It's fine!" I tell my mother. I swim like I never swam before. I finally reach my mother. She is holding onto a piece of debris to stay a float. I grab her and the piece of wood. "Where's dad!" I yell. "I...I...I don't know" my mother cries. My mother is a little beat up but it seems she more exhausted than anything else. I get it, I've been there before. "Let's get you to shore" I tell my mom. I force my mother to grab onto my back. "Hold on, it will be faster" I tell her. My mother does as I say and I battle the possessed waves and bring us onto shore. I'm greeted by some soilders standing waiting for passengers to wash up. "Help her, I have to find my dad!" I command. I see my spirit wolves take off in a different direction. I follow suit. We must have ran about another mile from where I brought my mom in. I'm stopped in my tracks when I see my dad's washed up body on shore. "Dad!" I scream and rush over to his lifeless body. "Help!" I scream. Lockhart, was close by and came running to my dad's aid. "Help him!" I scream with my eyes full of tears. "I'll do everything I can!" Lockhart said. He ripped my dad's shirt off and check for a pulse. "He must have swallowed water!" Lockhart said. I'm standing there in horror as Lockhart Performs CPR. My mother found her way over to us "Oh my God, Ethan!" She screamed out.
