I see, the blonde man appears to have the ability to construct a barrier that can shield his companions from harm. It is an exceptional ability since it can save someone that is in desperate need of saving. The man named Xavier would have died if it hadn't been for the assistance of the blonde man. Their team has a good mix of strength. A tank with the ability to copy his opponent's attack, a long-range fighter with elemental arrows, a long-range and close-range fighter with metal manipulation, a protector with barrier abilities, and two more people with unidentified abilities, but if I had to guess, their abilities must be more geared toward supporting the team.
The man that was just about to meet death shouted to his teammate "King Formation Now!!!"
Leon dashes to the back line, and the blonde man repositions himself behind Xavier as quickly as possible. The rest of their gang repositioned themselves in order to put themselves between Leon and the blonde man. I could have easily stopped them because their formation isn't entirely optimal, and is even immature at some point. I didn't stop them, though, since I was interested in seeing what this so-called "King Formation" might do. What's so powerful about it to have the word "King" in its name.
When Xavier notices that the blonde man and Leon have taken their positions, he exclaims, "Replication Avatar." My formerly translucent self has been transformed into something much darker and more powerful. It appears that the card's power may be employed in this manner as well, which is intriguing. He should have a card that is something along the lines of countering his opponent's attacks with their own. However, in this particular instance, he simply cloned my entire body. I'm still persuaded that the replica lacks my bloodline ability, despite the fact that it looks to have the same state as me. This is because I sense no pride in it. My Pride Demon Skills are derived from pride. If the avatar does not have any pride, it will be unable to utilize the demon skill. You may be wondering how I am able to detect feelings of pride, and the explanation is because of bloodline.
I have to admit, his Replication Avatar is quite decent. Because of the purpose of his skill, the Replication Avatar would only move when his opponent attacks, and because it counters with the same amount of force as his opponent, it is the ideal self-defense ability. If his opponent did not have a method to destroy the avatar, he would be able to battle against his opponent for an extended period of time without breaking a sweat. This would eventually lead to triumph since his opponent would get exhausted and succumb to defeat.
It seemed that Xavier thought I was spacing, so he shouted out to the blonde man "Arthur shield me."
Arthur replied back "Alright boss, Avatar Guardian Shield!!!"
A thick layer of yellow armor appears to be steadily built up from the bottom up, eventually enveloping Xavier's avatar completely. It appears that the barrier may also be deployed to completely encircle and protect someone. Let's put it to the test and see how strong it is. I sprint up in front of Xavier's before striking him hard . An enormous shockwave traveled over the surrounding region, resulting from the impact. Due to the hit, the once-shiny golden armor was destroyed, leaving the avatar to withstand the onslaught. Boom! The original and fake fist smashed with each other. Their collision caused a violent whirlwind that dispersed the individuals who were nearby where they were fighting as a result of the thunderous sound. Despite the fact that the barrier had been broken, the avatar remained unaffected. This fight has just gotten much more interesting.
I attacked the avatar once again, but Arthur swiftly reacted, constructing another layer of protection for the avatar. Although the shield shattered, it prevented the avatar from cracking. The conflict continues for another minute, with the barrier being cracked continuously. While it appears as though I am dominating, this fight has come to a halt, but this does not imply I am hopeless to win. I haven't fully utilized my card ability yet. If I used my card ability fully, this fight would be over in an instant.
Then when the fight was about to be really boring, I heard a shout from Leon 'Die demon!!! Stronger than Steel: Leon Spear"
The spear flies at breakneck speed toward me, piercing my tough skin. The spear did not stop at penetrating my skin; it continued and struck my ribs, shattering them before coming to a halt. My flinching caused Leon to hurl a spear at my heart. My instincts take over and I fully expand to my maximum size, casting a dark shadow across the land below. The spear that once caused a severe wound now barely scrapes my skin.
The once-confident team now trembles in fear of my stature and defense. They looked at me in shock, but I didn't care; I'm just annoyed that the moron managed to injure me so severely. I'm going to eliminate it immediately to absolve myself of my embarrassment. I extend my colossal hand at that moron. Seeing my palm approaching him with ferocity, the fool simply stood there in fear. Fortunately for him, he did not perish. To counter my strike, Xavier replicated my new size and increased the size of his avatar. While Arthur encircled Xavier's avatar with a barrier. The collision of the two titans generated a shockwave large enough to send trees and anything else within a hundreds-meter radius flying into the sky. The other teammates of Xavier, Leon, and Arthur were killed when they collided with the earth as a result of Arthur's inability to see them owing to the strong wind.
When the wind fades from the collision the once pale facial expression of the remaining people turn ghostly white. They look upon me in despair, knowing that death is their fate. Surprisingly though through all the despair Xavier manages to utter with lifeless voice to Leon "My fate is sealed and there's no turning back. Leon, run back to the city and help as many people as possible to escape. I don't know how long Arthur and I can stall, but please save our people, that's my last wish."
Leon didn't hesitate to return to the city upon hearing Xavier's request. Arthur and Xavier exchanged glances before nodding. I deliver another punch at them. They take one look at my punch before screaming for their lunge to come to a halt and deflect my attack as many times as possible. We continued to combat for another minute till they ran out of gas. They pant heavily, attempting to maintain their grip for as long as possible. However they are beyond their limits now, the pressure from each much is weighing on them like a mountain.
Looking at their actions I for the first time spoke to the humans "Xavier the king, the man who put his pride above his life. You have gained my respect. For gaining my respect I will let your people live, but you will still die."
Xavier was shocked that I could speak, but when he heard that I would give mercy to his people, he looked at me before smiling. With his agreement came the death of a king. Here lies the first king to ever gain the respect of me.
