The fireball was thrown from the beast, which was traveling at a speed of more than Mach two, as shown by the two sonic booms that occurred in rapid succession, which increased the intensity of the dreadful thirty-meter fireball even further. As a result of my inability to move swiftly enough, I decided to employ a technique that I had developed while refining my combat style. "Expansion Style: Expansion Rocket" was the name I gave it. This maneuver consisted of me springing off the ground with all of my force, then expanding my legs and pushing off the ground a second time with the expanded legs, thereby boosting my acceleration by two folds and increasing my overall speed. In order to boost acceleration while in the air, I turned in the opposite direction of where I was heading, clapping as hard as I could into the air with my outstretched arm, employing Newton's Third Law to create an air rocket with the power of my clap. This move is called "Expansion Style: Thundering Clapped".
When I am through using both tactics, I will do a rotation maneuver to bring me back to my original path, followed by placing my hands together and straightening my body to resemble a torpedo in order to eliminate as much air friction as possible. When I was about to hit the ground, I performed a front flip, allowing my leg to land first, allowing me to continue the cycle. However, based on how loudly I can hear the fierce wind blowing behind me, I can tell that it is growing closer and closer. This was similar to the experience of the skyscraper. Death was on the horizon, and I needed to come up with a plan of action.
I am currently fifty meters away from the raging inferno that is the black fireball of doom. It's around seven hundred meters distant from where I am. By now the fireball size must be around 45 meters. I am outside of its range. The explosion that would result from it, on the other hand, would make it much more massive. It is estimated that the greatest explosion radius would be around two hundred and seventy meters in circumference. Continuing at my current rate would very certainly result in death. I travel at a speed of fifty meters per second, but the fireball moves at a speed of around eight hundred meters per second. I just have a split second to make a decision that will save my own life or die trying.
It occurred to me at that point. An angled leap would allow me to travel further and cover more ground. Anyone who is familiar with the Pythagorean Theorem understands that Hypotenuse is the side of a right triangle that is the longest in length. In other words, if I leap at a 45-degree angle, won't I be able to cover the maximum distance in the least period of time? Because the Hypotenuse edge is always at a 45-degree angle, the angle should be 45 degrees as well. In a split second, I command my body to jump at an angle close to 45 degrees, throwing myself into the air. While I was doing this, the fireball was growing closer to the ground, getting ready to strike it with force. When the fireball was going to go boom, I was approximately thirty meters above the earth and could see it coming. Half a second later, I'm sixty meters above the earth when an explosion begins to erupt around me. My knowledge of its radius leads me to position my sword in front of me in order to produce as much surface as possible, allowing me to use the energy released by the explosion to maximize my chances of surviving the blast.
An enormous explosion has reverberated throughout the area, spreading a tremendous wave of sound throughout the terrain surrounding it. Almost everything, even the trees, rocks, and the soil itself, was destroyed, leaving nothing but ash in a forty-five meter radius. The heat energy that spreads fast over a distance of two hundred meters is synchronized with the deafening noises of the explosion. Despite the fact that the power of the explosion propelled me several hundred meters away from the epicenter of the explosion, the heat was scorching my body like it was butter. It burns my skin so swiftly that when a millisecond has gone, the pain sensor no longer responds, and I no longer feel any discomfort. During this process, I sensed death creeping closer to me, and I now realize that in less than a second, I will be fried alive.
The sensation I was experiencing at the time was one that I was all too acquainted with. When you are near to death, it is said that everything slows down, you feel as if time is moving at a snail's pace, and your memories flash before your eyes in a second. I see no past, but I am in a state of intense concentration. Although everything appears to be moving slowly, as if you have all the time in the world, this is not the case; I know I don't. My only option was to think quickly since everything would be over in a split second. I trawl through memories one after another in a frenetic effort to discover a way to prevent death from taking me. Millions of memories slipped by until I came across one that provided me with a glimmer of hope for survival.
It sprang from my recollection of my encounter with the Dog Demon. An unexpected burst of energy hit me right in the middle of the action. I was convinced it was all in my head, but I believe there was something more to it than that. A greater understanding of how and why I developed such strength. Was it because I was self-assured enough to see success, or was it because of my survival instinct? My demon skills were unlocked, I assume, as a result of whatever it was. If so, which of my abilities provided me with such a boost? Is it Amplification or False State? Adding to something in order to make it better would be referred to as amplification, and a false plus state would indicate that the state is not real.
Is this to imply that both skills serve the same goal but are activated by distinct triggers? Demon skills are abilities that are intended for the user. The Pride Demons are the race of demons that I belong to. Indulging oneself excessively, being concerned with one's own importance, and paying little attention to people around them are all signs of pride. A person who is proud is oblivious to their own defects and uninformed of the changes that they need to do in order to become better. What would the trigger or the purpose of the abilities be if we used these descriptions of pride as examples?
Amplification, in pride terms, could mean. A Pride Demon who's so obsessed with himself that he believes his achievements, capabilities, and power are greater than they should be. They are under the illusion that those feats of theirs are better than what really happened. If this was an ability, that would mean the Pride Demon that believes in their own power so much that somehow they gain power beyond what they should have. If so, I need to continue to be prideful, believe that I can live without harm, believe I am better than the truth, believe I am INVINCIBLE!!!!! (Play the Seven Deadly Sin OST 1:31)
In an instant, a powerful rush of strength came inside my body. I can feel it, the sensation, the feeling of power. I CAN FEEL IT AGAIN!!!! Quickly, I did a maneuver to land perfectly on the ground. Did you see that demon? I survived!! Now you will die, for you messed with me, Lockheart! Like a free bird in the sky, I executed Expansion Style: Expansion Rocket. Soaring through the wind, piercing the sky with my unimaginable speed toward my goal. The demon roared, before stomping the ground, creating a huge crater on the ground. I see its action, but I am not scared. No, I am excited, excited to kill this black piece of sh*t. (No racism intended, please don't report me.)
