I am sorry for not uploading, my internet service just commit die, so I needed to change internet service, and it took a while before I found another internet service. Any way I am back to writing, so don't worry I will keep my promise of getting to chapter 20, or 21 since I put an announcement. I don't know about the fan fic though since I needed to use some time this week to finish off some work. However, I'll try my best to complete the fan fic promise too.
==========
It's been a month since my mastery over the self created technique and since then I've grown quite stronger. My state is now
Lockheart
Race: Lesser Pride Demon
Origin: Earth
Strength: 7.5 B Rank
Speed: 8.77 B Rank
Endurance: 13.9 B Rank
Magic: 6.0 B Rank
Sin Point: 1.0
Card: 3 Star-Colossal Might, 3 Star-Living Weapon
Demon Skill: Amplification, False State, Stubborn Mind
I haven't seen an army of demons in a while, so it's hardly a huge improvement. The reason for their scarcity eludes me at this point .The same could be said for human contact at the time. I've last seen humans when a couple is running away from a gang of Demons of Strength and Endurance, which was a long time ago now. Fortunately, they did not come into contact with a Speed Demon, which is very terrifying, but their good fortune ran out when they came into contact with me. I split them in two without a second's hesitation, causing blood to splatter everywhere. Don't worry about the demon escaping, for they met the same fate as the couple.
I also uncovered a new ability for my three stars card, Living Weapon, which I had not previously known about. It turns out that the more blood that is spilled on it, the larger and stronger it becomes. I'm also seeing that the glow emanating from it is growing more intense. Is this a prelude of something else, or an indication that it is becoming more powerful? Whatever it is, it is both profitable and advantageous to me.
When it comes to the sin point, it appears that I've figured it out. I can apply it to one of my attributes if I so want. This was brought to my attention when I felt a type of temptation from the sin point toward the attribute. I was tempted to apply it to one of my attributes, but ultimately decided against it. I've discovered that the value of a single point of state is determined by the rank in which the attributes are given. This has occurred to me because anytime I absorb the demon soul and experience a state boost, there is always a continuous rise of 0.05, and when I contact the larger soul, there is an increase of 5. At first I thought the state was intended that way, that the state would rise by 0.05 or 5 depending on the size of the soul. However, if that were the case, then the sin point should also have the number 5 on it, but it didn't, so that means the number given isn't automatically 5. Another example of how rankings are important is the fact that while I was human, my rank was F, but it changed to B after. What's the use of raising ranks if it doesn't do anything? As a result, the only conclusion I can draw is that B Rank bestowed a five-fold multiplier the state received. Because the difference between B and F is divided between five tiers. In light of this information, I feel it is preferable to invest when I have attained or am close to reaching the greatest level. This is especially true given the fact that, aside from encountering the gigantic fifteen-meter demon, I am now experiencing little trouble.
Aside from the finding, everything appears to be as usual. I've recently returned from a year-long journey throughout the world in search of demons to help me gain power. Aside from the killings that take place every two days, life is tranquil. It is, to put it mildly, an unfamiliar experience. Walking around and killing people without regard for the law and the order each day. That is, at least, the case for me. I'm willing to wager that a group of foolish people who are unable to accept reality will band together and attempt to restore civilization rather than attempting to find methods to get stronger and live on their own. That's enough of that; let's get down to business with the bunch of dummies in front of me.
It appears that all of the different categories are present: strength, endurance, and speed. Of course, they didn't assault me, instead preferring to bend their heads in respect. However, unlike others, I do not make a distinction between allies and adversaries in my actions. Who can stop me if I wish to kill you for the sake of my own benefit? Definitely not them. That's exactly what I did. I began slaying them one by one, beginning with the Speed Demon. After seeing the blade, the Speed Demon sought to evade it, but he was unsuccessful in his endeavor. When the rest of his buddy saw a red ball gushing blood, they responded swiftly and went on the defensive. However, how could I possibly be slower since I was the one who launched the attack? The Strength Demon nearest to me was the first to retrieve my gift, a gigantic sword of its size, slamming it hard against it, breaking every bone in its body. Taking the opportunity of me killing it, comrade, the Endurance Demon strikes, but I continue my momentum, attacking him with my leg. The Endurance Demon, seeing my attack coming, jumped back to dodge my attack, creating enough distance so that my attack would miss. It smirked, seeing that I would miss it. However, my feet instantly expand, colliding with Endurance Demon and sending it flying across ten meters before collapsing against the rock.
It was all good until I heard a scary tremor in the distance that made me jump. I took a peek around to see what it was, and what I saw was something that made my heart race. Even more terrifying than the Dog Demon's existence is the presence of terror in front of me. This thing is enormous. No, the word "enormous" would be an understatement when describing that thing out in the distance. Even the word "gigantic" wouldn't qualify to be used. The sight of the dark thing in the distance was terrifying. Because of its height, it prevents the sun from shining directly on the Earth, generating a lengthy shadow. As a result of its footfall, earth-shattering reverberations may be heard across the area. When the thing moved closer to my place, the ground began to tremble violently. I swallowed a mouthful of saliva as a result of my nervousness. It's on its way to me. The great, colossal black demon is heading my way.
The more it came toward me, the more fear I felt. I can now see its menacing appearance. It had big red eyes like crimson blood. Its face shows great decay and corrosion. I don't know why it is, but it might be because of the black flames pulsing around his face. Its body is thin, like the small branch of a big tree. Normally, it would appear amusing, but with the black flame burning around it, it appears lethal. However, that can only be said for the upper body. The giant legs are pulsing with muscle, and you can feel power exuding from it. After a while, the demon stopped coming toward me before it opened its mouth and looked in my direction. Its open mouth started to generate black flames, shaping it toward a ball. I don't need to be Einstein to know that the ball is aiming at me, and if I don't run, I will die.
