Kayu instantly grabbed her and took her with him. As soon as he did that, Haya noticed that it was Kayu and she didn't even say a word and just kept staring at him whilst being taken by Kayu.
Despite his grip being very strong leaving a temporary mark on her wrist, she felt but not pain.
Kayu brought her to an alleyway and hid behind the dumpster without a word. Even so, Haya did not raise any concerns considering the situation she was in.
The silent chilling alleyway which could create echoes throughout the alleys, the rotten smells of the garbage surrounding them, the only thing which could be heard was the scream of the people and the sweat dripping from Kayu's forehead audibly within earshot.
But Haya, she was in her world and the only thing she could hear was Kayu's heart beating.
Unawares they heard a gunshot twice but then it stopped, and out of nowhere a half chopped body of a policeman came flying and hit the alleyway wall.
When Haya saw that she finally snapped out of her world.
"Huh Kayu what are you doing here"
Kayu then again grabbed her hand and went to a nearby house.
'Huh you don't know what's happening right now?" said Kayu as he breathe heavily.
She had no idea on what was going on and when Kayu clarified everything that had happened she believed in him
However, most people would find it crazy Haya believed in him.
"What If I was lying"
"If you were lying then, I would've known already," said Haya with a smile
"Anyways I'm going now since I've paid your debt," said Kayu while walking away from her.
But she was convincing him to let her follow him and would also do anything for him.
Though he agreed to let her follow him, he had a different motive for doing that.
"Hands up and turn back," said an Old man with a shotgun.
"Take one step and I'll shoot"
Then the Old man came closer and closer towards Kayu he saw something in his eyes that reminded him of something.
"Ahh, sorry excuse me" said Kayu and went to the second floor while Haya was apologizing to the Old man
Taking a glimpse from the balcony he saw many monsters lurking around the city with their mouth covered with blood.
"Oi kid I'm asking ya nic-
Kayu suddenly pushed away the Old man and Haya in the corner and he too hid behind the corner.
"Fucking h-"
"Sshh" said Kayu with his fingers near his mouth.
With the questions being raised in the Old man's head minute by minute, he began to hear a silent yet aggressive tone coming from the balcony.
"Srrrrrrrrrrrrhhhh"
Kayu slowly pointed his fingers towards the mirror.
When they had their eyes on the mirror they were horrified to see it. Even Haya who believed Kayu from the start was also stunned.
It then suddenly left after just roaming around the balcony.
*gasp*
"I- I thought we already killed the last one"
"Old man, you know something?"
"Follow me and the names Flint," said Flint while putting up a significant face.
They were taken to an underground bunker which had many separate rooms including bathroom with shower and a separate room which had many aim training stands and guns.
"Are you an undercover agent?" said Haya
"No, I'm a retired Combat Veteran"
"But why did you decide to let us in here even though we came into your house without any permission," said Haya
Then Flint replied that he had some business with Kayu.
"Are you sure about the door of the bunker?" asked Kayu
"Don't worry it's made off of strongest metal"
Thankfully there were food and water supplies which were enough for about 2 days. Flint also said that it was going to be their base starting from today.
Haya was curious and asked what would they do if the food finished.
"I don't have any food left in my fridge up there"
"What choice do we have other than to go outside," said Kayu
Though Haya tried to use her phone it wasn't recieving any signals.
After eating some food, Flint took his cigarettes out and light it up as he began to talk.
