"We didn't tell you because we didn't know if the stories were true. It's dangerous on the mountain. We didn't want anyone to get hurt to find out there was nothing up there." "But it seems the time to find out has come..." "We must protect our home!"
That night there was another clan meeting. Everyone was talking amongst themselves, wondering if the negotiations went well. Many of them crowded around Pip, Feza, Gin, and Purum. "What happened?" Many would ask. "Will we have to leave?" Others would ask.
Before any of them could answer, Tsubasa began to speak. "I'm sure you all would like to know what happened with the negotiations." The crowd fell silent. Everyone turned and looked up to the rocky platform where the leaders were. "Unfortunately, the humans didn't understand a thing we said..."
Just then, the clearing exploded with questions and concerns. "Now what do we do!?" Many asked. "If they don't stop, where will we go?" Others wailed. "What's going to happen to us!?"
