"I am sorry that they had to leave." Noah apologized to Ren but this time, he was really tired of asking sorry to her since the time, they met.
"No, he said it was okay."
"But it was weird for them as well as you. He even thought something else about us and it must have hurt your feelings." Noah kept on talking because he usually talks a lot when he is nervous.
"Breath." Ren chuckled as she nudged her shoulder on him to ease the situation.
"I am hungry." Lia caught the attention as she jumped on the counter stool, swaying her legs.
"Hmm." Ren huffed as she placed a meal box in front of Lia who stuffed her mouth with t not waiting for anything else.
"She is a little messed up." Ren commented as she gave an odd look to Noah who face palmed himself.
Noah sighed as he kicked Lia subtly so that she would get conscious about what she is doing. She quickly took the hint and looked at him to see him rocking his eyebrows at her to slow down. Lia coughed a little before wiping the bread crumbs off her lips before drinking a little water.
"We need to go for a shopping." Ren suggested as she ate her toast.
"What is shopping?" Lia asked confused because she has never heard that in her place.
"We need to get some new cloths for you and him. Buy some necessities in case you are shifting." The last words Ren said merely came out as if she was not ready to let him go.
"What about the house?" Noah asked as that was the basic that they need.
"I still didn't sell that stone you gave me. Maybe we can find another way for that instead of giving up on your possession." Ren spoke really fast that Noah couldn't even stop her from spilling the stone.
"What kind of stone?" Lia asked as she shifted her focus to Noah.
"What stone?" Noah tried to cover up as he eyes Ren to not speak anymore.
"I clearly heard that you are going to sell a stone. Tell me from where you got that stone?" Lia got up from the chair as she walked to him who was sitting on the opposite side of the counter.
"No, there is no stone." He said as he got up from the chair, taking slow steps away from her.
"Don't dare to tell me that you stole the moon stone." Lia hissed as him as she went on to cut the distance between them.
"Wh-what is that?"
"Noah, don't act like you are a noob. We both know how dangerous it is to take it away from there and still why did you do it?"
"I really didn't take any stone from there and can we just talk about this somewhere else?" Noah was noticing Ren listening to their conversation.
"For real if you took that stone, return it to me before it is too late. We need to keep it back or else my people will get into trouble." Lia hissed as she was turning to her Luna side.
"Calm down, will you?" Noah pulled her to the guest room before anything else could happen.
"Great, what stone could this be?" Ren asked herself as she took the blue stone from her pants pocket and observing it.
.
.
.
"What were you trying to do? Expose ourselves just like that in front of a human?"
"What do you mean by the stone? I am pretty sure the only stone that you could manage to get is the moon stone. You stole it, right?" She hissed while looking straight into his eyes.
"Hmm, so what?" Noah snapped back at her.
"So, it was that. You stole the moon stone and came here so that you could sell it and be rich?" Lia asked as her expression changed.
"I don't want to be rich or rule the world. All I want is to live here peacefully with no contact with our pack."
"Noah, why did you drag me with you? Our pack would be dying there right now and you are worried about getting a house and shifting? You are betraying our pack just like Oliver did." Lia grabbed his shirt and pushed him to the wall.
"I am not like him." Noah muttered.
"You are worse than him. At least he didn't steal it or break any rules there."
"I didn't break any rules too. We were only not supposed to take the stone from the goddess and I didn't. This stone was on the ground, away from the sculpture so this is probably not the moon stone which you are referring to." She negotiated as he yanked her hands off him.
"It can be that stone. I want to see it."
"You can't see it. Even if it is the moon stone, I don't care about it and what would happen back in the pack."
"Noah, are you in your fucking senses? This is not what you want." Lia couldn't believe the words which came from the boy especially after she trusted him enough to break from the realm.
"I am fine, much better than the past three hundred years that I spent in your hell hole. I am finally free and I don't have to listen to anyone's orders which includes you too." He pointed at her face before pushing his way to the bed.
"I want to go back and check on my pack."
"Go on, but then forget about your cubs and the life. They would kill you for fleeing and again, you would be named as a traitor." He huffed knowing there was no way for her to go back.
"What have you pushed me into?" Lia asked as she fell on her knees, balling her eyes out.
"I saved you and this would be the best for us. I am pretty sure that a stone can't change the fate of our pack."
