One Year later...
Scott and Spitfire's relationship had grown enormously over the year.
Sharing a romantic Kiss from time to time, they stayed quiet and unnoticeable with their sudden connection,
Spitfire, Cindy, and Chocolate still talked,
And the phone calls varied from ten minutes to one hour,
Cindy had gotten another 'colleague' she described him as,
And his name was Graham, she seemed to be living pretty easily in the city, and with the heartbreaking changes,
The Trio would do a three-way call nearly every night,
A phone call at 7:30 PM was to be expected,
and although, at times, Cindy and Chocolate,
both talked more over the phone than completing schoolwork,
they both didn't care and continued missing Spitfire every day.
Both Cindy and Chocolate paid a visit for Spitfires 16th Birthday,
June 28th...
The Trio Laughed, sitting at a picnic table eating homemade Apple Pie that Aunt Gina Made.
They shared Stories, of their similar but different lives.
"And We went three blocks from the house, On our bikes! I was so tired." Cindy laughed, "But Graham,
just laughed and continued to pedal away from me,
it was a race."
Chocolate laughed, and so did Spitfire at Cindy's story,
They've All Grown up some,
Cindy had shoulder-length, ashy brown hair now,
And Chocolate hair was no longer an afro, but straight,
Spitfire was now Sixteen, and about 5'10,
he didn't change much look-wise, though.
"And you, Spitfire?" Cindy laughed, "Tell us a story."
Spitfire smiles, "Well, not much has happened to me,
unlike you both,
I've been working at the Café though for a few months now,
After the last Dancing competition,
I've decided to stop dancing,
and serve coffee now." he laughed
"It's a little easier," Spitfire chuckled.
Chocolate nods in agreement, " Well I've been dancing,
with mom, We're doing these local shows,
it's pretty amazing."
Spitfire smiles, "I'm glad you both could make it,
it's been so long."
Cindy nods " Yes, been a long time, lots of stuff changed, I suppose."
Chocolate shrugs, "But we haven't." He smiles " We're still the best of friends."
"Spitty?" A voice says behind Spitfire's back.
Spitfire turned, seeing Scott with a present, "Scotty." He smiles,
standing up to hug him,
Scott Sneaks a quick kiss on Spitfires cheek,
before stepping back.
"Here, Spit." Scott smiles,
handing him a present, it was small,
and Spitfire grabbed it with a smile, thankfully.
"Thank you, Scotty." Spitfire smiles, looking to Scott, " Oh Scott." He replies, "This is Chocolate, and This is Cindy." He beams, "Cindy, Chocolate, this is Scott."
"Nice to meet you, Scott,
I've heard a lot about,
you from Spitfire." Chocolate says, shaking his hand.
"Nice to meet you both, " Scott says and shakes Both Cindy and Chocolate's hands politely.
Cindy looks towards Spitfire with an arched brow,
Could this be more than just a friend to Spitfire? She thought to herself,
Spitfire stood, Starring at Scott softly, not noticing Cindy caught this relationship between Scott and himself.
"Well, you three have fun,
I'm gonna go get some of that pie." Scott grins,
Winking at Spitfire and turning away.
Spitfire waved, with a smile, then sat back down by Cindy and Chocolate.
"Who... Was... That?" Cindy says Slowly, looking to Spitfire, who watched Scott walk away.
"Just a friend, Remember, I told you about Scott," Spitfire says,
taking a bite of pie.
"He's hot." Chocolate teases, poking Spitfire in the side laughing.
"Stop it!" Spitfire says sternly, between laughing, "Stop."
Cindy laughed, tickling his sides, " You fancy him, don't you?" she says " Don't you?"
Spitfires cheeks turned pink, Blushing " No... I don't." He glows,
"I don't fancy him, he's a friend, I told you."
Chocolate laughs, "I don't care what you say,
I believe you have a crush on him,"
Cindy laughs, " You do Spitfire, you have a boy crush, I knew it."
Spitfire sighs, " Maybe," he grins, shyly,
"Maybe I do have a slight crush on him,
he's good to me."
Cindy smiles, "Sooooo....How long have you liked boys?" she looked at Spitfire curiously.
Spitfire responded, " I didn't know until last year,
I and Scott were at a café,
He bought me a coffee,
and we kind of bonded, I guess,
We looked into each other's souls,
We understood where we were damaged at,
We looked in each other deepest part of the core,
We felt each other's blood pumping through the veins,
just by looking at each other, We united,
and I felt safe." he states, "For once."
Chocolate beams, brightly, "That's beautiful, Spitfire."
Cindy nods, "I seriously had no idea, Spitfire, So... how long have you both dated?"
Spitfire looks at her, "Not long, we both agreed dating is over-rated, let's just say... we're together."
Chocolate grins, "That's wonderful, Spitfire,
I'm proud of you."
Cindy smiles also,
" Very neat, Spitfire, good for you."
Spitfire yeses, "Yes, things have been rough since you both left,
but I survive, day by day, Scotty helps me."
Cindy smiles, "This is fun," she says, changing the subject, " Well, let's go gather the family, and you open the presents,
I'm kinda curious what lover boy gave you."
Spitfire chuckled, "Agreed, well come girls. let's go."
Chocolate, Cindy, and Spitfire gathered the family members for the last part of the party, Scott was sitting at a far, watching from a distance on another picnic table, and of course, Spitfire opened Scotts Gift first,
It was a necklace,
It had genuine diamonds, and a large ruby sat centered in the middle of the shape of a heart, Spitfire was surprised,
He cupped it in his hands tightly, pressed close to his heart,
he's never had anything truly this precious, and it about brought tears to his eyes.
Spitfires looked to Scott, and smiles, he didn't say anything but just starred with a smile, Scott Smiles at Spitfire, and mouthed "I Love you."
Spitfire smiles, glancing down at his hands,
This made it official, Spitfire was in love,
and it wasn't the opposite gender as most thought,
He fell in love with Scott,
and it was becoming very hard to hide his feelings,
from his family.
After Spitfire stopped gushing over his Necklace,
He continued to open his gifts,
like usual, it was a happy birthday for everyone,
Adam starred coldly towards Scott, watching his every move,
Scott knew he'd probably have to fight Adam for Spitfire, as a couple, but he wasn't afraid, he loved Spitfire, and Not a hundred wild horses could pull him away from someone he loved so much.
