Beau smiles seductively towards Spitfire, and Scott watched, intensely,
He's always had this anger that a lot of people were scared of,
he only needed an excuse to blow his top.
"What's your name?" Beau asked Spitfire,
Spitfire simpers,
very little and answers, "Spitfire." he says, wiping the counter off, swiping Muffin crumbs on the floor,
"Spitfire?... that's an unusual name for sure, come on,
what's your real name?" Beau asks, but in a curious way.
"Let's just say,
it's very long and boring
Just call me Spitfire, Beau...
call me Spitfire," he states, meeting eyes with him.
Scott glances at Beau then back to Spitfire,
Jealously was also something that Scott grappled from,
and he gritted his teeth,
trying to stay relaxed,
Scott was staying cool, calm, and collected,
but this beau was getting under his skin effortlessly.
Spitfire leaned on the counter, "Scotty, I'll be getting off work at noon, Maybe I can hit you up on heading to your place... hmmm, by ourselves?" he taunts, taking his hand and giving Scott a quick tap on the nose.
Scott begins to smile, "Of course." He smiles, leaning in to kiss Spitfire,
Spitfire reached lips with Scott, but pulled away teasingly, "Not in public, my big strong, handsome man." He says softly, looking into Scott's baby blue eyes.
Beau watched, "I'm guessing you're a little bit more them just partners in the music industry." he chuckles.
Scott answers, with a heavy sigh, "You got that right,
Spitfire is our secret weapon in the band and my baby in the heart."
Beau agrees,
he seriously had no idea that Spitfire and Scott
had some sort of relationship, and if he knew, would he have trifled so aggressively towards young Spitfire?
Spitfire smiles, "It was nice meeting you, Beau" He grins,
then sighs, turning to Scott again,
"I gotta go,
I have work to do in the back,
Pick me up, Scotty,
at noon, ok?"
Scott nods, "Yep,
you can count on it."
Beau answers, "Oh, it was nice meeting you also, Spitfire,
Very nice indeed."
Scott rolls his eye, turning to look at Beau once repeatedly,
"Maybe I'll see you around,
I drive a 05' ford mustang that needs some fuel,
later don't you know." He says sneeringly.
Scott was proud of his car and bragged about it considerably often.
Beau listens and answers, "Well, there is only one gas station in town,
I'm guessing?... so I'll be there."
"Oh, you start work today then?" Scott asks.
Beau nods, "Yeah, I start at ten-thirty."
"Well, you better get going then,
it's ten-twelve, it takes ten minutes to drive to the gas station," Scott says,
He was very annoyed by Newcomer Beau Sloane, although he seems to be a genuine person, right off the top, he was flirting with Spitfire,
and there were two things you didn't want to mess with,
Scotts Car and Scotts Sweetheart.
Beau looked at his watch, then left a tip for Spitfire under his plate that Scott miss-looked, "Well then, I'll see both of you later, hopefully,"
he says and stands up,
putting his lightweight jacket on.
Scott nods, watching Beaus every move, "For sure." he says
"See you later."
Beau grins and starts to the front door,
it was a beautiful day, June 29th,
The sun was shining, and birds seemed to sing all sorts of songs while perching on the blossoming cherry trees along the street,
Scott stood up slowly and peeked through the large glass windows, observing which vehicle beau drove off in,
It was a white car parked in front,
Dried flower petals were on the hood,
from the overhead hanging potted plants,
Scott watched,
Beau drives away down the street.
Scott then turns to the counter and chairs again.
"Hey Spitty, I have a few things I got to get done,
I'll pick you up at noon, babe." He says,
"By the way, you should think about putting the radio on in this little place the silence deafens a person."
Spitfire beams and peeks around the side of the wall, dividing the kitchen and front counter, "Bye." He grins flirtingly, speaking in a very soft voice, waving at Scott mysteriously before disappearing behind the wall.
Scott took his jacket and put it on slowly,
he got up early, around four
so he yawned tiredly,
he walked over to the door, opening and closing it behind him.
The smell of fresh-cut grass from the Smiths across
The road smelt glorious, and Scott began to walk down the street to the east, spotting a familiar-looking Car,
it was Beau.
"What are you up to?" Scott asks himself quietly, hiding behind the large blue public post office box, drop-off stand.
Beau headed into a very dark ally when he got out of his car, he looked suspicious, and Scott watched closely,
he didn't want to get caught,
so he stayed at afar.
Back at the Cafe.
Spitfire headed to the counter, picking up Beau's used plate,
he sees the tip,
it was ten dollars,
and Spitfire smiles, grabbing it.
"Barb, look!" Spitfire chuckles, walking to the back, tossing the ten dollars down on the kitchen cutting board.
"Holy smackers, Who gave you this?" Barb asks, "Ten dollars,
that's impressive."
Spitfires shrugs, "Scotty, maybe?"
Barb turns to look to Spitfire, "Maybe, or it was that Beau guy."
Spitfire swayed his head, "Nah... ten dollars is a little much for just a simple silly muffin," He jokes, "It has to be Scotty,"
Barb Smiles, "Well, ask em' girlfriend."
Spitfire laughs, "I'm going over to his place later,
I'll ask then."
"Hmmm, wonder what you both are going to do there?" Barb teasingly elbowed Spitfire.
"Hmmmmm... well?" Spitfire grins, Blushing, " That's none of your business, Barby," he bantered, laughing along with Barb,
Barb put dishes in the dishwasher then answers giggling also, "Well, Give him a kiss for me, alright?" he ridiculed, glancing at Spitfire.
"I surely will." Spitfire beams brightly.
Barb laughed, "Go break him in, girl!"
Spitfire jeers, "Barbson Farrs, that's enough," he shouted embarrassingly, "What if someone is listening?"
Barb shrugs, "I don't care?" he chortles " Do you?"
Spitfire shook his head, "Not at all Barb,
Not at all,"
"Well, then there you go," Barb nods, resuming.
Spitfire smiles, slowly lowering his head, taking his hand, and opening the bottom cupboard, "We're almost out of freeze-dried strawberries?"
"Yep, I told Shawna about that, but.." Barb shrugs, "Guess we will get them when we get them."
Spitfire nods, Glancing at his watch,
it's only been five minutes since Scott left,
and Spitfire waited impatiently.
