She groaned, trying to crawl out of the darkness that was repressing her. She couldn't help it. Her limbs felt glued to the bed she was lying on.
She could feel the wetness around her. Whether it was from sweat or blood she had no idea. Lila just wished to peel her eyelids open.
Her mind was swimming with different thoughts. None of which we're good. She was in a dark place and a dangerous state.
Since her eyes wouldn't open, age tried saying something. considered asking for help from whoever was around her.
Instead of words, a raw whimper left her throat. Once the sound came out, she couldn't stop in hopes that she could say more words again.
'Help me! Please help me wake up. I am drowning in my pain. Save me,' she screamed in her head.
