CHAPTER TWENTY NINE
'Home sweet home', Micaela said in excitement as she gets down from the bus
A neighbor who lives so close to them ran outside chasing a very big dog who had just escaped from its leach. The dog is well known in the neighbourhood to be a strong wild dog, this dog wasnt friendly and would bite and attack anyone who tries to get closer.
Some neighbors tried to talk to the owner to sell it off or rather he should leave the neighborhood but as it is the man still keeps the dog and no one dares to go close.
Micaela seeing the neighbor who chases after his dog runs into the house throwing her bag running as fast as her legs could carry her screaming loudly.
The dog runs in the direction of Luna who wasn't even scared and it stops right at her front, the owner was screaming at the top of his voice trying to tell Luna not to get too close or run because it may chase after her and bite her.
'SIT!', Luna commands the dog who obeys her immediately and pats the dog on the head.
'ain't you cute',she says blushing and patting the dog on the forehead. Micaela who was watching from the window in shock couldn't believe her eyes.
Luna holds the dog collar and looking at the name on it.'Rudy', she says as the dog starts wagging its tail. The owner comes forward in shock still trying to catch his breath and looking at Luna in a strange way quickly attached the leach on the dog.
'Thank you, he says as he takes his dog away still in disbelief.
Micaela couldn't believe her eyes and this still made her speechless till dinner time.
'What's wrong with you', captain Lucas asks Micaela who just kept hitting on the roasted chicken in her plate
'nothing', Micaela answers forcing the chicken down her throat while Luna kept feasting on her vegetables and fruits. She mostly feeds on them requiring more than just meat to stay healthy and stocking up on nutrients not found in meat.
Micaela spent the rest of the day still trying to analyse all that happened.
