Chapter 25 - Part 24

"Alland. Alland Ray Stanford."

Marsha's words kept ringing in Anderson's head. His best friend's name didn't seem to want to come out of his mind, stuck to it perfectly, making him not believe what was happening.

After Marsha's confession about the father of her future child, Anderson immediately left the cafe. He didn't heed the call of Starla and her two friends.

He immediately grabbed his car and drove it madly to the Stanford Group building. Anderson really couldn't believe that Alland could let loose like this, this wasn't Alland's habit. Meanwhile, Christo, who often forgets about his safety, never gets caught. But this is Alland, Alland the perfect.

"You're going to have a stroke hearing it Alland!" hissed Anderson who was still focused on the road in front of him.

He immediately took his cell phone and called Christo.

"Wait a minute, i'm almost arr--"

"Turn around! I'm on my way to Alland's office. Come over soon if you don't want to miss it." Anderson said quickly without letting Christo finish his sentence.

"What's wrong? What would i miss?" he asked curiously.

"Ck. Don't ask any more questions. Hurry up, you'll find out later." said Anderson who had turned his car deftly, even though one hand was busy holding his cell phone.

"Okay-okay, I'll be there. Don't start without me!" He said who then disconnected the phone unilaterally.

Anderson threw his cell phone into the back of his car roughly. It doesn't matter if the phone gets damaged or destroyed. Even though it was Alland who did it, it was Anderson's feelings that were messed up. After all, they have been together since they were in Senior High School. So, Alland's problem was his problem too.

"You got that curse, Alland."

Alland read some of the files that were now over in his hands. He read it carefully so as not to feel disadvantaged later if he didn't read it correctly.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure everything's safe. Haven't you been eyeing our stock for a long time? Now I'm offering it to you directly. Of course, by taking advantage of you." said a man sitting across from Alland.

The man is the son of Mr.Rich, the owner of the De Rich Hotel, and is the best businessman in the property sector. Even his wealth almost matched Alland's. Their companies both do have a strong competitive edge. So, that small investors are always scrambling to side with the strong.

"I was just making sure," said Alland, who then put the papers on the table.

Orios, son of Mr.Rich smiled. "You won't be harmed. We're not that cunning, Mr. Stanford." Orios told.

Alland nodded his head slowly. Orios was right, he shouldn't be suspicious. But he also has to be careful right? It's not impossible that they couldn't bring him down just because Alland invested his stake in Mr.Rich's hotel. Anything could happen if he was careless. Finally, with full confidence, Alland signed the file which was also signed by Orios.

"Nice working with you, Mr. Standford."

"Yeah, me too. Nice to work with you, Mr. Rich."

BRAKE!

The sound of the door opening violently slams so loudly, that it makes quite a noise. Alland and Orios suddenly turned quickly towards the source of the voice and there, Alland found Anderson who was standing firmly while staring at him intently. From his gaze, Anderson looks angry, but why was Anderson mad at him?

"Alland!" call him strong without knowing the place.

He walked briskly toward Alland. Meanwhile behind the man was Tiffany who was following him.

Alland nodded his head seeing the look on Tiffany's face. The woman looked quite panicked because she couldn't stop Anderson.

"Leave it alone, we're done." Alland's words made Tiffany able to breathe a sigh of relief. Then she excused herself.

"You're crazy Alland. Crazy! What are you thinking, huh?!" he snapped with mixed feelings.

Alland looked at Anderson in surprise, he didn't know what Anderson was talking about. And to his surprise, why was Anderson mad at him? Did he do something wrong? If so, what did he do wrong?

"Can't you see i'm at work? Why did you come in, Anderson!" hissed Alland who had been trying hard to contain his anger.

Because right now, they weren't alone in the room. There were Orios there and Alland didn't want Orios to see him in a different state.

"What the hell with your job. This is even more important than when you won the tender or whatever!" he said breathlessly.

Alland raised his eyebrows. "Say what you want to say."

Anderson shook his head weakly. "You won't believe what i'm about to say after, Alland."

"Just say it!" Alland urged the already very curious.

"I can't even believe Alland. You're perfect Alland to miss like this." his rambling words made Alland hiss again with disapproval.

"I don't like small talk, Anderson. Tell me what's important that makes you so mad at me," he said with a piercing cold gaze.

"You won't believe it, Alland."

"Just say it! Damn you, Anderson!" Alland snapped, who was already so curious that he could no longer contain his annoyance at Anderson.

"That woman. The woman you slept with was pregnant." Anderson's words made Alland freeze in place.

He glared at Anderson. "I have never impregnated any woman," he said in a disapproving tone. He thought Anderson was too much.

Anderson smirked in response. "I told you before. You won't believe it, but believe me, she's pregnant."

"Don't make me mad or you know the consequences."

"That woman is carrying your baby. The woman you slept with 7 months ago and the woman you saved from Noah." Anderson said clarifying the news.

Alland glared at Anderson angrily. He even stood up from his seat. His hands were also tightly clenched into fists, holding back his emotions. No way, no way!

"Impossible."

"Yeah, but she's pregnant and that's your child."

"That's impossible. Keep your mouth shut, Anderson!"

Seeing Alland's anger made Anderson's emotions peak again. He became afraid that Alland didn't want his child. He walked over to him, then gave him a raw fist on Alland's left cheek.

"She's pregnant. Marsha is pregnant, Alland! And that child is yours. You must take responsibility!" he snapped, already very frantic and covered in anger.

Orios had always chosen to wait and just watch. However, hearing Anderson shout at Alland took Orios by surprise. He even stood up from his seat.

"Wait. What do you mean Marsha Charlotte?" ask him to be sure.

Anderson nodded firmly in response. "Yeah, she's Marsha Charlotte and the child she's carrying is this bastard's child." point it to Alland.

Shit! Shit! Shit!

Why did he just find out?!

"You know what happens if you lie, Anderson." pressed Alland threateningly, then he walked away from there.

Run as fast as he could to meet Marsha because Alland had to figure it out himself.

After Alland left, Christo had just arrived. Seeing Anderson rush out of Alland's room, made Christo, who had just arrived, have to follow in his best friend's footsteps.

Now Orios was left alone in Alland's room and immediately he took his cell phone to call someone on the other end.

"She's pregnant, dad."
