"Two weeks later after meeting Azur, Shelby woke up every morning with the same dream however each night it went farther into it.
It was somehow a bit different than the other dreams she's had. Her dreams were more vivid. She felt like she was there. Shelby couldn't stop thinking about it.
In the class were She and Azur met, she was quiet. After their two weeks of meeting each other it was unusual for her to be quiet. Shelby was the one out of the two to sit and make jokes. It had Azur concerned.
Shelby couldn't really crack a joke with the thought of this world she believed she knew that her mother says wasn't real. Maybe it was because of the conversation with her mom that had changed her dreams?
Maybe it was because she was more aware of it. She thought that at first, yet it felt so different.
"Shelby" She looked up towards the voice to see Azur standing there with his bag on his shoulders. Shelby was in an intense daze "Are you okay?"
"Yeah" Shelby said standing up still a bit lost in though and putting her books into her bag. She looked towards the door and back at Azur "Umm bye" She walked out of the class.
Azur watched as Shelby left the classroom with concern written all over his face. Azur followed Shelby to her car. Azur stopped her as soon as they reached her car.
"Are you sure?" Azur asked "something is off"
"I just have a lot on my mind" Shelby shrugged
"Maybe I can help you get it off your mind?" Azur suggested
"How?" Shelby asked looking confused at her friend.
"Let's go hangout somewhere fun" Azur said, and Shelby's eyes shinned with excitement.
"When?"
"How about now" Azur suggest and climbs into Shelby's passenger seat.
"Sure" Shelby gets into the diver's seat and begins to drive to the place most kids her age seemed to forget because of their magic.
The lights lit out from the outside of the building, lighting up the sign. There wasn't much of a line since most people were in school still studying because of their magic.
"An Arcade?" Azur asked excited "I didn't even know these were still around"
"That's because everyone's interest now a days are their own magic not what's around them" Shelby says, "Magic is like makeup but in a whole different ball game."
Shelby gets out of the car and they both enter the Arcade. Sounds of the games are heard as soon as you enter. The smell of nachos and Doritos filled the air.
"This place is awesome" Azur said and with a wide smile Shelby pulls Azur around as they play as many games as they can.
About two hours later, Shelby and Azur sat at a table. Shelby was laughing with Azur.
"So do you mind if I ask you a question?" Azur asked
"Sure" Shelby answers
"Why were you so out of it today?"
"I'm going to tell you something but please don't judge me" Shelby says
"I won't"
"Ever since before I could remember, I've felt different and which obviously I am different. However, there's one thing that's kept me sane" Shelby explained and pulled out from her bag a sketch book and opens it up.
Inside was filled into details of this other world. There was people, houses, and shops.
"There's a world I feel like I'm from but I'm not sure since I've One only seen it in my dreams and two somehow know everything about. I feel like some times that I'm from a whole other world but was dropped off here for some odd unknow world" Shelby went on
"I told my mom last night, but she said it was just a world I created and that I'll get my powers. However, unlike everyone else I haven't even done anything magic beside create this whole other world inside my head. I have notebooks, paintings, sketchbooks and everything else filled with this whole other world that fells like it's my own"
Shelby looks down at her fingers as she moved them back and forth. Azur places his hand on hers and she looks straight at him.
"I believe you" Azur says and wipes away the tears that fall from her eyes. Her eyes shine at the words he spoke to her. "Your also not crazy because believe it or not. I've been to that world, and I know it's real"
"So, it's real?" Selby asked and flipped through the pages in her notebook. "Is all that I wrote in this true?"
"I don't know much of that word specifically" Azur explained "but I know I've been to it"
"I have so many questions" Shelby shouted excitedly, and Azur chuckled.
"Anyone up for some karaoke?" Azur asked looking up towards the Karaoke stand and down to Shelby who had a smile song.
"Cool kids?"
"Cool kids" Azur smiled in reference to when they met.
"She sees them walking in a straight line
That's not really her style
And they all got the same heartbeat
But hers is falling behind
Nothing in this world could ever bring them down
