Pearl's POV
Everyone had left the meeting room, leaving me behind with just the new CEO and the room, suddenly became stuffy as if I was beginning to feel suffocated.
I stood there quietly waiting for him to start with something along the lines of that he was disappointed with my presentation, or maybe he didn't even like the design I made, but what he said next was definitely not part of the list of things I was expecting him to say.
"You seriously don't recognize me?" He asked with a frown on his face and that made me to squint my eyes just to look at him.
What is he talking about, why should I be able to recognize someone I've never seen before, I wondered to myself while watching him as if I was waiting on him to explain what he meant by recognizing him.
I haven't met him before even though I've been to his parent's place for quite a few times now, but I have never for once seen him there.
