Pearl POV,
After putting on my clothes, I had turned and was about to get answers out of the strange-looking person in front of me however it may take, but his words make me freeze for a moment.
"Don't start any more tantrums please, unlike you I need to think of a way to get out of here," he had said his cold voice sending cold shivers down my entire spine.
How dare he say I was throwing a tantrum, I thought to myself with a hard look on my face and my palms balled into a fist ready to connect with his pale cheek, however, I decided to say something first, so I opened my mouth to say something, but I couldn't get the words out before a knock stopped me from what I was about to do.
I could keep count of how many knocks I've heard and I wasn't sure if it felt weird or if it was actually a little comforting that we weren't left all alone to figure things out on our own.
