Drake's POV
Knowing that being in the woods is the only place I could be sure that no one would see me, let alone know what I was doing or planning, was what prompted me to stay there, a place far from prying eyes.
The night was dark but I could see clearly. I think it's safe to say I see more clearly in the dark.
I had been coming into the woods for days now. I need to plan a way for us to escape and if I was going to do that then I knew I had to practice more on how to use my powers.
I thought about the Luna, and naturally, her name came into my mind making a small smile make its way up my face.
I had to do this at least even if I couldn't get the two of us out, I should be able to help her escape while I stay until I find my parents before I leave.
