Omar snapped his finger and the hooded man disappeared. "Let's go," he ushered Nate.
Nathaniel turned around with the little energy he had left and took a few steps. He halted when he didn't pick up on the sounds of Omar following behind him.
So he inched back to the male. His blood ran cold when he spotted the black veins that formed all around Omar's third eye.
It becomes like his eyes, completely dark like a moonless night. Nathaniel kept an eye on him. Omar stared at the distance without blinking, at the spot where the men were some moments back.
Nathaniel couldn't see it with his naked eyes. The men hadn't vanished, Omar simply made it appear so. He glanced at the men clinging to the little amount of sanity they had left and smiled.
All the men exploded into dark mists that were then inhaled by the darkling.
"We should head back," he insisted feeling relieved to see the moon return to its normal appearance.
