Nathaniel's blood boiled. He didn't know Omar's family but he hated them. "It's okay," he said.
It was strange, it was him who almost died that night however it was him offering comfort to another. Nathaniel didn't mind giving Omar a shoulder to lean on.
His life was bad but nothing compared to the demons Omar grew up with. "I know the feeling of being helpless and hopeless. Knowing well that no knight will storm in through the doors to save you," Omar whispered.
The third eye slowly faded from the place. His eyes were returning to normal. Omar regains his normal human appearance. His eyes red from all the crying, Nathaniel gazed into his eyes.
It was clear as day that Omar wasn't over the trauma of his past. His scars might have healed, yet deep down he was still wounded on the inside.
