Sounds of swords swaying is echoing inside the whole castle, dead royal guards and servants laying on the ground bathing on their own blood, screams of pain, and laughs of evil were heard from the castle.
Enemies were attacking the Kingdom heartlessly killing innocent people, taking lives of the poor.
"kill them all. Do not leave any royal blood behind" a man in black said, broad shoulders, standing straight. He laughed at the sight of the loyal servants and palace guards laying on the ground, fighting for their lives. This is what he dreamed of. This is what he wanted all along. To destroy the peace and beautiful place the royal family has created.
He is Lucifer, the second prince of the royal family.
He hated them to death especially the King who was his cousin, he was envious of the King because he was supposed to be the one sitting on that throne. Ruling this kingdom was one of his biggest desires but the throne was passed on to his cousin, Leo. He was older than Leo, he was the first born boy of the royal family so he expected the throne but they didn't know that the king that time had a child already— which was born a year before Lucifer—secretly which was Leo.
Leo was the late king's son with his first wife, who passed away, to keep him safe he gave Leo to his sister and hid his identity from the people—including the royal family itself.
Even though he desired that throne, he let that condition pass and asked a different favor instead. He wanted to be given great power or just a high position but the king refused and called him greedy. The king said how power and position must be earned to be able to claim it. But Lucifer expostulated with the king's perception, he remonstrated, but the king's decision was never to be changed. He despised the King, including his family to death so he decided to build a clan that would be powerful enough to destroy and take over the whole Kingdom.
"Lucifer" Leo spoke properly sitting in his chair.
The man in blacked laughed, he glared at the king and smirked "missed me buddy?" the king didn't spoke but just chuckled.
"You had the chance to run.. why didn't you?" Lucifer asked he picks up his bloody sword from the ground "pfft, being the almighty king you are aren't you?" he laughs again.
The King, Leo, sighed.
"I was born to be a king, so I will die as a king" the king said with a straight face, confidently sitting on his throne.
Those words slightly pissed Lucifer. He hates how proud and confident Leo looked in that throne, even with the knowledge of dying in any second he still stood his guard as the King. His anger rose and his blood boiled at the sight of Leo.
"Oh Your majesty, I will gladly grant your wish" Lucifer bowed, a perfect ninety-degrees bow at the king. He swiftly stood up before pointing the sword at him.
"Farewell, Your Majesty" He grinned

The Queen was watching, she was there before Lucifer even came to the throne room she was hiding behind the large curtains. She saw everything, including how Lucifer slashed the life of the King away, in his own throne.
She felt weak in her knees, she felt like collapsing. The throne was filled with the King's blood, her husband. But she had gathered all her strength this is no time to mourn for the king, not right now, she must remain strong and fulfill her promise to him—that is to save their last hope, their last star, their daughter.
She ran quietly but swiftly, she ran to a very far room a room where probably no one would think of going. The late King's room.
She was crying while running. She didn't expect Lucifer to be this evil that he will took the life of his own brother.
She ran towards the room as fast as she could. She made a promise. The king didn't fight for his life so he could distract Lucifer... so that the queen could save the last hope of the Kingdom of Alstra, their daughter, Zaellya.
"Gertha!" the queen called, entering the room she saw their loyal court lady carrying the princess gently.
The queen tearfully approached the two. She took her daughter from the court lady's arms and gently hugs the child.
Lucifer did not know that they had a daughter, s oZaellya was safe. They knew that this day might come so they made giving birth to Zaellya privately. The princess was only a month old and if the day comes that the princess is old enough she will find her way home, home to Alstra.
"Where shall we go, your Highness?" Gertha asked in terror, panic is marked on her face
"You need to go to a place, where Lucifer will never find you..." the Queen gently caressed her daughter's cheeks. "go to the northern isles, take my horse and bring my white phoenix with you she will show you the way to a hidden cottage," She gave a glance to Gertha "from then on you will see a perfectly beautiful lake near the cottage, on the corners of the lake you will find unfamiliar flowers, a combination of white with a shade of blue glowing flowers, feed one petal to Zaellya and to you too so that you can breathe underwater." the Queen stated
"Underwater? Why must we need to breathe underwater?" Gertha confusely asked and the looked softly at her daughter.
"Under the lake, on the deepest part of it you will find an arched rock with beautiful corrals and flowers decorating it" she hands a diamond, a sapphire-like crystal "place it on the empty space on the bottom corner of it and the portal shall open"
"and we will go through that portal?" Gertha took the crystal and swiftly burried it in the pocket of her dress
the Queen nodded
"but take note that the world you are to live in is so much different from here... magic does not cease to exist in that world, so act as normal as you can, and avoid using your powers." the Queen hands the child back at Gertha.
"but where will we stay?" Gertha took the princess holding her as gently as possible.
"I already took care of that, a girl will be waiting for you on that portal." the Queen grinned "remember when my sister left because she wanted to be free?"
"Lady Luna came to that world" Gertha sighed in relief, Luna was also one of the kids she took care of. She has been serving for the royal family almost all her life..
"yes and she will guide you so please keep my Zaellya safe, at all cost" said the queen emphasizing 'all'
"What of you, your Highness?" Gertha worriedly asked
"I will be alright, I shall go to the southern isles and find Mother Gothel, Lucifer cannot step foot in the south, I'll be alright" The Queen assured her "Just remember my words, and keep her safe.
"She's the only hope of this poor Kingdom"
