Gertha followed the intricate instruction of the Queen, doing every little detail she told her. She already reached the Northern Isles, found the cottage and the magical lake. It was a 3 days journer as the lake was located far north, staying as hidden as possible.
She took one flower from the bushes on the corner of the lake "one petal is enough" she aimed the petal on the princess's mouth, extracted the juices off the petal to drop on the child's mouth, then she proceeds to swallow one for herself as well.
Once she's sure that the child has already drank the petal's juices she swiftly hopped on the lake. She swims deeper and deeper until she finds the arched rock the queen was talking about 'this must be it' she said in her thoughts.
Gertha immediately reached her pockets for the diamond and inserted it on the empty, carved space on the bottom corner, just like how the queen instructed.
not long after the creatures on the lake were swimming around them and Gertha felt a heavy force coming from the rock. She held the princess even more tighter securing her safeness if unnecessary or unexpected things ever happens.
The portal started to open and they were slowly starting to get swallowed by it.
and poof!*
The next thing Gertha knows was she was lying on a floor of an empty dark room. She couldn't find anything other than a mirror. It's designed the same thing as how the arched rock looked under the lake.
"Gertha!" she heard a familiar voice behind her so she turned around and saw a figure she dreadly missed.
"Princess Luna" Gertha sighed in relief, finally she got out of Alstra, finally they were safe and she finally saved the princess.
Luna opened the door and an unusual but well designed room was the first thing Gertha saw. The floor was also well cleaned that she could see her own reflection...
but something was different...
she looks different.
her apple-red hair turned to a shade of brown and orange and her clothes were unusual and different from the ones she would also wear back at the Kingdom.
"My sister probably told you how different this world is compared to ours there is NO magic here" Luna assured
"yes and the clothes are quite different" Gertha looked like its her first time to wear clothes which made Luna chuckle.
"Everything is unusual here Gertha. But as long as you're with me you and my niece will be safe" Luna grinned.
