After his unsuccessful interrogation, Bardrick treaded back to Millie for any new lead. A thought still back tracked in his mind, but stooping to that level was a last resort.
He stepped in, foot first into the room, only to be met by tons and tons of choking scents. The scents were so strong that he had to bury his nose in his elbow.
"Can you just leave the door open?." Millie's voice echoed from across the room. In both hands there were two different air fresheners, whilst ten to fifteen other air fresheners laid on the table.
"You know...when we said we'd use the air freshener as a lead, this wasn't what I had in..."
"I regretted my actions after the third trial." Millie admitted, scratching the peg which balanced itself on her nose.
The detective helped her to pack up all the evidence, before anyone could trace the source to the both of them.
