Chapter 40 - 040

Lukas alighted his car, two of his details held two black umbrellas, in respect to the predictions made in the early hours of the day. He proceeded to draw out a black bouquet of roses from the front seat of the Porsche. The ground underneath his feet was damp, maybe it had already rained before they arrived.

"Stay here and keep your eyes peeled, alert me once you notice any suspicious movement." Lukas ordered in a firm and conscience tone.

Both men nodded curtly, and took off the dark shades they had on, neatly tucking it away in their suit pocket.

The gravestone was empty, just as he had predicted it to be. It was idle and bare of flowers, Lukas took off his shades and tossed them to the grass. He knelt down on one knee, and carefully dropped the flower at the gravestone.

He muttered some things in a native language, and folded both his hands.
