It was strange and oddly suspicious how Addie, the man Karla was meant to tail ended up coming to her. And more so at her place of work, alongside the detective. And by the look of things they were in a rush.
Karla continued on walking as though she didn't notice Addie's presence, which was natural, since she spotted them first. Then, she accidentally collided against the detective, splattering her files to the floor.
"My bad Miss." Said the detective crouching down to help pick up the files.
"What a small world." Karla exclaimed with animation in her voice. She looked at the detective with wide expectant eyes. Her whole plan was binging on the detective recognising her.
"It's you again, Miss Andersen." Said Bardrick, exchanging glances with Addie who seemed fazed by her presence.
"Pleasure to see you again." He told her, assessing her from head to toe. She looked very professional, the detective was positive that she worked at this company.
