Karla had gotten an ear full from her mother on not messing up her chances at work. Adelina was certain that this was Karla's second chance at earning a decent living.
But more pressing matters bothered her, she didn't put such into consideration, but while sitting in the backseat beside Mr Grey, the thought just flew into her head.
{Rumours are definitely going to run wild, I was fired barely a week ago. And now am hired as his paid paparazzi...} She couldn't shake off how embarrassed this new job would make her feel.
"You look pale." She heard her companion say under his breath. Her chest tightened to hear him talk to her as though he cared enough.
"First time jitters." She replied, flashing him a smile. Her smiles were simply endless and were more than enough to make a man weak.
