"Attorney!." Karla cried out in recognition, placing both her palms on the bar table, facing Cora directly.
"What?. Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?." Cora shot at her, the woman stood frozen in her spot not saying another word.
She flickered her eyelids and cocked a small smile at her. "I just didn't expect to see you here, I heard about the kidnapping." Karla admitted, rubbing her temples in embarrassment.
"Well, I am here and alive in the flesh, the police came to the scene right on time." Cora stated, looking away from Karla's infectious smile.
"I should be the flabbergasted one, seeing you here came as a shock." She admitted, putting her phone on silent.
"You must come here often then, it's my first night actually." Karla announced, grabbing an empty glass in front of her.
