Chapter 22 - Attack Attack Attack!

Feng Jiao strolled into the office.

It was a typical workspace for a small business. It reminded Feng Jiao of the offices of those handsome lawyers on TV dramas. The coat hanger with formal coats and a hat, the shelves full of awards and minimalistic art.

Even the desk was perfect, messy yet formal looking. Leather files and a little glass paper holder. There was even a little bottle of ink and a fancy pen that went with it.

But best of all, there were two extremely handsome men in suits in the room.

And Feng Jiao somehow recognized one of them.

"You- you-" she pointed at Gao Longwei, her mouth wide open with shock.

'This stalker followed me here too? Wait, he was here before me! Did he go to some sort of fortune teller?' Feng Jiao thought before realizing she was overthinking things.

The other man in the room was also an alpha. These alpha thingies, they swarmed together like rats, living in smelly little packs. It was no surprise that alphas would know each other.

Feng Jiao decided to ignore him. She instantly put her hand down and pretended as if the earlier pointing hadn't happened at all. After all, she was the customer here. That fellow was just a friend. Business should always come over friends.

"I came here to find a house to buy." she began.

The other alpha, the realtor, Liao Jiang, smiled and sat down politely, and completely ignored Gao Longwei. He too, agreed that business came before friends.

"Which are you looking for a house in?" Liao Jiang spun his pen around his fingers once and began writing on his clipboard.

Feng Jiao stopped to think for a minute before looking at Liao Jiang again, eyeballing him with a slight bit of suspicion, "You have some client privacy rules in place, don't you?"

"Yes Ma'am!" laughed Liao Jiang as he clutched his chest to prevent himself from falling out of his chair. Any more of Feng Jiao's random words and he would most definitely explode.

"Somewhere near Ming Xi high school please." Feng Jiao said sweetly.

Liao Jiang instantly began searching up places in his folder and flipped through the pages with great speed. It was so fast that one could barely see the pages flip. It made one curious as to how Liao Jiang was flipping through them that fast.

The truth was, Liao Jiang knew he had only one place near MingXi high school… He was just flipping through the pages like that to show Feng Jiao he had other places. It was basically to show off.

And Feng Jiao, the sharp eyed vampire hunter had long noticed. It was obvious.

She couldn't even read at that speed. Not that she read very much. Maybe it was practice, but Feng Jiao was calling bull.

"What's your budget like?" Liao Jiang smiled as he stopped on the only page that he knew of, that was anywhere near MingXi high school.

"How much does that place cost?" Feng Jiao didn't bother wasting time with him and got straight to the point. She didn't have much more time to go back to the agency before they got suspicious.

"Which place?" Liao Jiang asked innocently.

"The only place you have near MingXi high school. Stop wasting my time and tell me already." she spat out viciously.

Gao Longwei couldn't help but stare at Feng Jiao. He did have his usual cold, brooding look on his face, but the warmth in his eyes was evident. To someone who didn't know him, they would definitely think he was angry, but anyone who knew Gao Longwei well, knew that he was melting.

"Okay, okay, you got me. 1.4 million. I know, I know, you can't afford it, you're just a student after all. I'll hunt for another place this week and call-"

"I'll take it." Feng Jiao pulled out her card and slapped it down onto the desk.

"What-" Liao Jiang was obviously confused but instantly snapped back, realizing that he had made a sale without any haggling, "Can I get your ID, dearest valuable customer?"

Feng Jiao dug through her bag before pulling out her passport. She wasn't going to make the government ID mistake again. That would be ridiculous.

"Okay dearest valuable customer, let me just fill in your details-" he gleaned at the ID and then realized something, "Dearest valuable customer, don't tell me you're underage?"

Feng Jiao's happy face instantly fell to gloom. She didn't think she would face a roadblock at this stage, but she had, and now it was ruining everything.

"Let me do one thing-" Gao Longwei cut in, his frosty voice cutting through the room like a knife, "I'll buy it. She can pay me for the house once she's an adult. I'll put it under her name when she comes of age."

Feng Jiao looked at Gao Longwei suspiciously. When something was too good to be true, it probably was.

"What do you want in exchange?" Feng Jiao glared at him. If he asked for her body or something of that sort, she was going to call the cops.

"Nothing. Just please, consider dating me when you come of age." Gao Longwei was slightly gloomy thinking of how the moon goddess had forced him into a life of temptation and struggle, meeting an underaged mate and all that.

It wasn't long before Liao Jiang coughed and turned to Feng Jiao with an expression that was obviously asking 'so what do you say to that?'

He then instantly turned to his friend and shot him a look of 'you better tell me what all of this is about, you rogue.'

Gao Longwei waited eagerly for Feng Jiao's response when she dropped her best attack.

"Mister, I'm only fourteen years old…" Feng Jiao pouted, locked her hands behind her back loosely, and then spun one foot around in circles on her toes on the floor. She was the perfect picture of a blushing young lady.

A blushing, underage, lady.
